Wouldn't it make sense to have a new major bad guy in the series? How many times can Zoda be killed before it gets old? Perhaps, due to Zoda's death in ZR, right-hand man (er...invader?) finds out about it and takes over the invasion armada to continue the attempt to destroy the survivors of the Argonian race and their savior, Michael Jones.
As michaeljones said...it's just another thought.

Wait--how does ZR end? I've never played it.

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

That's what I thought should be done if Zoda is not to be involved in ST III. I would naturally believe there is somebody higher in the chain of power than Zoda. His boss could be a relative (grandfather, father), or maybe it's the king of his home planet, whose goal is to rule the universe (much like many other games but...). Having a second in command would also be a good idea, but I think that would've been more appropriate if he or she would've been introduced in ST I or ST II. It doesn't mean that isn't a possibility though... Who knows? And just because I started it, I'll say it again: It's just a thought...

Zoda's mate could be the villain. She'd have different characteristics and could give birth to many more evil invaders.
