So are you creating the game from scratch then? Is it supposed to be like the original?

Most VC games are rarely announced at all. Occasionally some are announced within a week of their release. So don't really count on hearing anything.

It's probably been a couple of years since I've played ZR but I didn't have any memory of such an area.

I dunno about mucho profit, if all of us bought 3 copies of each game, it would probably equal a few days work of testing/bug fixing for a team of 3 or so people. and if i recall, ST2 uses some kind of new sound chip, which probably hasnt been emulated yet, but i could be wrong... Dont fret though, there are plenty of sites that review VC games, and do it pretty well. First of all, I believe that they could release any NES game they want on VC. I don't think they would have left anything out even for the games released late in the console's life. Also, 3 people buying ST on VC would end up being $15. That's not even enough for a full hour of one person's day. I'm not sure if they actually need to do any testing or bugfixing on those games though. Don't take it personally, I just happen to disagree with you here.

There's a good font called Placard Condensed that very closely resembles the ST font. It cost money though and I haven't found it on the internet anywhere for free. With enough google searching though, I know there is a site that lets you type in whatever you want and preview it in that font. I don't remember what the site was called though. You could also use Impact for the font but the other one is better. Make sure you send me your PSP theme when your done and I can put it up on my site if you want.

Yeah I always wonder what Nintendo would think. Would they be angry I'm making a game based on one of theirs or flattered? Or would this just disregard it completely in hopes that it is really good and may possibly spark life into a game that hasn't seen a new release in 13 years? The Zelda Quest editor thing has been around for a while now and they haven't pulled the plug on that yet so I'm really not too worried right now but who knows, maybe I should be.

Yep your absolutely right coralcola. I checked my PMs and sure enough it was his dungeon. I wish he wouldn't have claimed it was ST3 though since it contained the unofficial sprites and sound/music.

Yeah it might be his. I have a bad memory.
Edit: He was the one who originally sent me a PM about it but he said that he found it on YouTube, not put it up there so that's what I was thinking it wasn't him.

Yeah that last dungeon is by MJ I believe. Someone sent it to me awhile ago to fix a bug that was occurring. I believe it was him but I could be wrong.

I think adding a 2nd quest on would be a bad idea. The first one is a classic and no matter how you want to remake the original, there is no way you could top it.

Glad you guys like it so far. The Island Spirit is actually on deviantart and that's where I got it from so that's why I put that. As for the site logo/corners. It works fine in many browsers including Firefox, IE7, Opera on Wii. If you are using Internet Explorer that is any version less than version 7, the site will look really bad since old versions of IE did many things wrong when it comes to viewing some websites. I could make it work for less than version 7 but I don't feel like wasting my time on it
