Back in November 18TH, 2001, before I bought a GCN during it's release, I saw a meteor shower. The best meteor I saw lasted for almost one second, while it left a trail of smoke. LOL, well, according to that one guy in ST, meteors are omens of disaster (oh me, oh my!)... I always felt they were good luck, at least to me, LOL. Which was it for you PH?

LOL, well, according to that one guy in ST, meteors are omens of disaster (oh me, oh my!)... I always felt they were good luck, at least to me, LOL. Which was it for you PH? I guess it was pure luck. After I watched it, I went to the nearest Media Play store, and it only had a mother and a pretty young boy, which was perhaps six or seven years old. And speaking of meteor showers, there is another meteor shower appearing from 11:45 PM to 1:30 AM right now. I recently checked the Virtual Console's launch list, and it looks like it will not include StarTropics nor Zoda's Revenge: NES/FamicomMario Bros. The Legend of Zelda Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Ice Hockey Pinball Soccer Tennis Urban Champion Wario's Woods Baseball Solomon's Key SNES/Super FamicomF-Zero SimCity Nintendo 64Super Mario 64 SEGA Genesis/SEGA Mega DriveSonic the Hedgehog Altered Beast Golden Axe Columns Ecco the Dolphin Gunstar Heroes Space Harrier II Toe Jam & Earl Ristar Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine TurboGrafx-16Bonk's Adventure Super Star Soldier Victory Run Bomberman '93 Dungeon Explorer Japan's list is better than America's and Europe's lists. I really wish that there are some Japan-Only titles released outside of Japan for the American and European Virtual Consoles, like Joy Mech Fight, Marvelous: Another Treasure Island, and Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Earth. Click here for all three lists.

Yeah, I forget where, but somebody posted that list a few days ago somewhere on the forum here. I posted a reply to it about NOA should try to release previously unreleased, yet still planned and pilot produced games for the VC. My one example was the "Mother" game which was planned for U.S. release, which a test game/cartridge/board was made for it, but never mass made and released. It was on the trading circuit some time back, so at least one copy exists. There are numerous other examples I know of, but Mother I believe would be the most infamous... Japan only games, not released in the U.S., would be a great thing for the VC too, supposing that we don't need to understand Japanese to play the games in the first place...

Nintendo Wii is now being obtained by a ton of Nintendo fans and gamers, and they are about out of them.
They said the stargazers in New England, eastern New York and eastern Canada have the best chance of catching the action.

Nice job MJ. I went to Circuit City this morning at 7:30. They started handing out voucher tickets 20 minutes later. I got number 27 out of 28. So I have to wait two more hours until the store opens and then I get mine.

During my wait in line at my nearest K-Mart, I saw more than 8 people, and I thought I wasn't there on time. But then, they told me that two people counted as one person. When the manager came out, he said they only had seven Wiis, and I got the seventh ticket! I motivated well.
Now I have a Wii bundle, Zelda: TP, Excite Truck, and an extra remote without the nunchuk.

I found this video of some men smashing a PS3 in front of PS3 fans waiting in line for their own! (Warning - foul language)It would of been worse if they used an ax or make it explode as large as this sparkler bomb. (Warning - foul language)Not only they smashed a PS3, they also smashed the other two new home consoles and an iPod Nano. (Click Michael's shocked face for an even more ridiculously expensive price)

That's gotta be a joke or a scheme, nobody, and I mean NOBODY will pay that (not that I think there are but a handful of people in the WORLD who could afford to or who would dish out that kind of money for one) for a video game system... Note that the bids, after about $1000 or so, were all by unregistered users. Hmm...

It's pretty cool. I only got to play it for an hour before I fell asleep. I'll play it more when I get home and tell you more about it.

A friend of mine brought his controller to class today, and he and I had some in depth discussions about it. According to him, the Wii Sports was REALLY cool, especially the boxing, with use of the controller. He also liked Twillight Princess, and that the game seems like it's a pretty long and complex process. He just got out of the "wolf" stages...
Very few problems, as a whole, were reported, mostly those due to the last minute updates that some Wii's got, but were originally supposed to come in a disk, while others didn't.

Now I can actually talk about Wii because I am not falling asleep nor is my teacher telling me to get off of the internet.
Wii sports is pretty cool. Baseball is probably my favourite.
When you get Wii MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE CENSOR BAR ON TOP OF YOUR TV!!! I thought mine was broken (I was to tired to read the instructions. My Wii is already hooked up to the internet so I have been on the shop channel and noticed that eventually Nintendo will be releasing the ability to go on the internet with Wii (although you will have to buy the prillage. The other two channels arn't up yet but I'm not to concerned about that. The controller is really cool and I also have the Classic Controller which is alot like the SNES one. SD cards are used for extra memory if you need it and as most people probably know you can play GCN games games on the Wii.
