This group is a nicer group than most groups in real life.
I came here fairly recently when compared to most of you, & you all treated me like an old chum.
Since then, I've seen more newcomers receive the same treatment, with respect and a warm-fuzzy feeling.
I just wanted to voice my opinion on what's possibly the best group in all of internetdomness.
We've all done our parts in making this island in the informationsuperhighway the best, & we will keep it up till the dolphins swim home.
All we need now is our own "We Are the World"-type song to greet visitors to our cozy island community, everyone old & new.
There's no real reason for this message, other than a feeling that swept me with the moment. The same kind,in fact, that seizes me when I play StarTropics.
Hopefully, our community will grow with the release of the Wii & the Virtual Console, and our warm-fuzziness with it.
I can't wait for what the future holds.

*Tear starts forming* Well Icarus, I don't know about a We Are the World type song being necessary, but I'm glad you feel so at home here...  Given the fact there are not many ST fans out there, it's my feeling that anybody who's heard of it, let alone played it, deserves a voice here. We've been lucky that most of the people who regularly post here are, as a whole, kind people who don't have troll-like tendencies. I do expect our group to grow as well when the VC and Wii (WEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!) come out. I'm excited about the possibility of ST getting more mainstream publicity out of it all... ;D ;D ;D Thank you for the kind words. I just now hope that there won't come a point later on where your opinions end up taking a 180 though, LOL...  |

I'm glad you felt welcomed and I always try to be the nicest I can be here on the boards. All of the other members are always friendly too (except for Tyrael1986, she bites [joking]) and thats probably why this is my favourite board out of the 50 or so im a member on (other than the fact that this is a message board for one of my favourite games of all time). I also don't think we need a song but I do usually send a welcome message to all new members so I think thats enough.

It does my heart good to know we're all in this together. As for the song, I had just been listening to Weird Al's "Don't Download This Song" and the idea for that type of song stuck... |

This forum is perhaps the opposite of the YTMND forum, because I haven't encountered a single flame nor an offensive post from anyone in the C-Island forum.
