In another thread in the Off-Topic forum, I alluded to the fact that a new classic VG store opened locally, the first of its kind in my area. Going in there for the first time last week, much to my pleasant surprise, I found something I hadn't seen... in 20 years: i26.photobucket.com/albums/c104/wheelloon/STA1.jpgi26.photobucket.com/albums/c104/wheelloon/STB1.jpgST, MINT CONDITION! EVERYTHING, including the poster, the jacket, and the letter still stapled to the instruction booklet! No tears, no rips, no bends or creases, no marks, no fading, el perfecto. Ultimate epicness. I now have a new prized video game possession. While I still have most of the original stuff from when I first got my original ST in 1990, it's not even in remotely this good of shape anymore, and at that, the store was selling this at a bargain (in my mind) of $15 (it was apparently $25 at one point). I also found 1943 still in the box, but without the instruction booklet or any other peripherals. That was only about $7, still a bargain in my mind. It was a very good day... ;D /And yes, BTW, that's one of the area rugs in my past aforementioned Tropical/Tahitian/ST inspired-room, and yes, just as they look, those green things on it are palm trees.

That's TUBULAR, dude! I never told you guys this, but right before I came back from Miami, I found a little store with classic games and stuff... And I finally found it. ZODA'S freaking REVENGE! Sure, no box, no jacket, no manual.. but who cares? It looks awesome beside my StarTropics original cartidge anyway! I still haven't found the apporpiate time to plug this into my new NES-player... but when I do, I'll be playing a marathon ST1 and then ST2 with the ORIGINAL NES CONTROLLERS. Yahoo!! EDIT I HAD that poster! D: God I miss those days... why can't they give us that sort of thing nowdays?

Blast you Coralcola, beating my boxed copy of ST (I'm lacking the poster and plastic bag), although my box does have a red stripe along the top that says "Nintendo Entertainment System" (I've seen a few other boxes that have this as well, I even have a SMB3 cartridge that has this ). Awesome find though, and that 1943 box sounds pretty awesome as well (I have the instruction book but not the box ).

I've got sealed copies of both ST and ST2 just waiting for their chance to find a good home. I've had them for quite some time now, and they've moved to two different homes now. eBay...here they come!

I'm still looking for a boxed ST2. ST and ST2 are the only 2 games I'd do such a thing for as this (though with 1943 being a steal also, I figured why not). Later down the line (as in YEARS), maybe the Mega Man's, but I'm also watching my budget right now, so it wouldn't be at this time. I haven't seen any of them anywhere anyway to do such, it was hard enough to just find the cartridges themselves over all these years!
