Look at what I accidentally started. LOL www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH-S4K4sRLsIf you follow the link you'll see how everyone responding believed Mike to have been considered for Brawl, and they're using my pic thinking it was an official leak of the game while in production. XD I wonder if I should do something about it.. or just watch some more, heheh. This is pretty amusing.

Hey, at least people are taking notice at Mike, which can only improve his chances of a SSB4 appearence.

It's great to see that so many people noticed your video. The more people that know about Startropics and make videos about it the better ;D P.S. I was looking through the related videos and I found this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nXTQNFxSQ0&feature=relatedArgh my ears are still burning!

I wonder how much Nintendo really cares about StarTropics and it's fans.. I don't know what to say.. Sometimes they listen, and sometimes they're jerks. Regarding the Earthbound issue (along with its 30 gazillion fans) I can't blame Nintendo if they don't wanna risk selling a game that flopped sales over 10 years ago stateside. So it's not like they don't listen, it's more like the risks are high, and the profit is questionable. Now for StarTropics... if its a sequel they were to release.. it might not do very well.. unless they put MASSIVE efforts in the game, and it plays like a charm.. has beautiful music, awesome plot.. and its a core game. If Nintendo wants to revive this franchise, they will most likely start by remaking the first 2 titles. THEN, they'll want to release the 3rd installment. Sometimes I'm worried that one of the reasons for not bringing this franchise back could be because it'd be too similar to Zelda... Well hardy-har-har! That didn't stop Advance Wars from being released along side Fire Emblem! Both are strategy games, just like Zelda and ST are action/adventure. And they could always make more platforming in ST to make the gap bigger between the two games.

Too much like another of their flagship franchises, eh? That hasn't stopped Sony from running the Metal Gear series next to the Resident Evil series. I mean, when you think about it, they both play about the same: run around in a 3-d environment, collect items and guns, shoot bad guys, survive stuff that would kill ten men, fight bosses, yadda-yadda-yadda. But then again, Sony's stance on the Playstation has always been "we need more games, no matter what."

I think Zoda's Revenge attempted to move away from looking too much like Zelda.

Hmmm you've got a great point there, Bruce.
The same engine was reused for Resident Evil, Onimusha, and Devil May Cry series!
And CKY2K is right too. Zoda's Revenge has a different feel even from Zelda. But it also has a slightly different feel from ST1.
ST3 should rely a lot on platforming and fighting with overhead camera angle. An engine like that hasn't been used too much, has it?
