What is your favourite creature in the game? Or what room is your favourite and what is your least-favourite room/place in st? - For a long time i thought that mm .. thoice blue creatures (Appears in 3rd and 5th chapters) are some kind of dogs too, but when i checked the guidebook i saw that they are some kind of birds. Well, i hate them. Specially in 5th chapter, cos they are so fast and the room is small. I kind of hate also the part in 7th or 8th chapter after u've found the first magic cube. In the level before levels 2nd boss there are thoice mm .. lights which are moving. And if you touch them you will lose a lot of hearts. Well before i knew how to go thru, i mean i was fast enough. But now .. i always die in that part atleast once. I like to kill thoice birds (there's always 2 per room) which are skeletons. It's fun to hit them. Blue snakes are also fun to kill. Mm .. I like rock bosses in 5th chapter. And 2nd, 6th and 7th bosses too. Most boring to kill are sheeps, but when i was little i guess i've died for them also. Best village is prob the village where Bananette is. It's big and there's many peoples to talk with. But all the other villages are also nice. And the castle in 5th chapter is cool, i love that music. Intense moments i've had in ghost village, specially when the lights are out. And that room where is lots of mummies ..

My favorite room would probably have to be the room in Chapter 6 two rooms before you fight the mini-boss (his name escapes me right now)...the room that, if any of you have this issue, Nintendo Power dubbed the "Mumuu-Go-Round". If you know the game at all...you'll know which room I'm talking about. I don't really have a favorite village...they're all fairly annoying...although I do like the area in Chapter 6 when you talk to the 3 oldest women in all the islands and one of them tells you that you have bananas in your ears. Favorite creature definitely has to be the Mumuus...only because you can beat on them a lot before they die...and beating is fun. My least favorite creature are the green aliens on the space ship...they annoy me!!!

I love killing ghosts... they're not very dangerous when you make them visible, but I love how they open passages. I can't stand those hooded guys which you have to kill with mirrors, I can kill them, but I never really mastered it. There are these weirdos in the lava level tat jump out of the lava. Mummies just annoy me because they take so long to kill. Also, entering a room full of snakes is cool. So many good creatures, so hard to decide.
I like the druid thing you kill with basketballs lol.

Haha yeah I know the room. I always thought it was quite easy, and I always remember it because of the hidden medicine.
My favorite creature has to be the green sphere things with one eye, though I don't know their name. They are always fun to kill.
My favorite village is the village of Bellcola. I don't know why.....
And Omnicron, there aren't any basketballs in StarTropics, though I see why you could get confused. What you take as a basketball is actually the Wondor Horsehide (baseball).

Wow, Matt. A baseball? It's like the whole world has turned upside-down for me lol.
I can't figure out what this Mumuu-Go-Round is referring to, but I know the game in and out. Can anybody explain more?
Those green eye-spheres are crazy!

The Mumuu-go-round is in a level in chapter 6. Its the level that has the giant snail type thing that fights almost exactly like Octo the Huge. It is two rooms before the mini boss. When you enter, if I remember correctly, you are on a green tile with two sinking tiles to the left that lead to strip of land that is shaped like the outline of a square, with a square of land in the middle of it. There should be numerous mumuus (the pink mummies) walking around it. Thus it is called the Mummu-Go-Round.

My favorite room would have to be the room filled with green blocks and mummies(chapter 6), so if you saved your spike shoe you could use it about 5 times to kill the mummies. But I did like to take my place in the Mumuu-go-Round and make a congo line with them all My favorite enemy would have to be the hooded guys/pirate ghosts that you have to use the mirror on, sorry omnicron, I find them fun to kill. ;D I remember when I was 6 and going through the game my first time I hated those robots in chapter 6 Anyone else notice how often we're mentioning Chapter 6? that spun around and shot in 4 directions, but I don't find them so irritating now.

Yeah, that room in chapter 6 which you were talking about is fun! Thoice 2 monster bosses are also quite fun to kill and i hated them also when i was smaller and i always died on them. I find hardest thing to kill thoice 2 things in chapter 6. They move like some kind of flashing and then they dissapear after they shot 2 shots in different ways. Same time as other one shoots another starts to move. Mm .. I hope you got it. And i though too that it's baseball.

I don't really have a favorite creature, but I do definitely have a least favorite... Those D*** HUGE PINK THINGS IN THE SPACESHIP THAT FLY ACROSS YOUR SCREEN AND ALMOST KILL YOU WHEN YOU GET HIT!!!! AGGHHH!! I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I'VE DIED BECAUSE OF THOSE THINGS!!! Anyway, now that I've let off some steam... My favorite room is the Main Engine in Chapter 8, because of the secret passage and the sorta "phases" the engine itself goes through before it explodes. My favorite village is Coralcola (why not?)

my favorite creature is probably the original orange Loopers...they were the enemy with the most strategy involved. i remember i used to practically have nightmares about the Hoodoo Dolls. those things are farkin creepy! haha
my favorite room has to be the room before the mummu-go-round. i always loved the way you reallyneed to pay attention to the tiles to get across. it's one of my favorite vg puzzles of all time.
if i had to choose a fave village, i would say it would be Bellcola...i don't know why...

You didn't know about the secret passage below the main engine?! Wow, okay. There are tiles in the room that open up at the bottom of the screen. Fall into one of them, you'll enter a new room with lots of enemies, with a passage that will be revealed when you kill all the enemies. You can also go right and get a vitamin x and take the stairs back up to the main level to appear on the screen right after the room you fight Zoda's head... Does that make any good sense at all?? I think Mitch mentions it in his walkthrough of the game, but I don't remember.

Oh...okay. I knew about that. ::sigh of relief:: I thought there was something a little less obvious than that passage. I'm better now! Thanks for clearing that up for me. ;D
