Where is everybody?? Nobody has posted anything for a week! Because of this, I thought I might as well start a new poll. As a sort of spin-off to MikeJones's poll, what was your favorite chapter in ST II, and why? I combined the first and second chapters, since in chapter 1, you didn't even do anything! Chapter 4 (London) was my favorite because you met Sherlock Holmes! I always loved Sherlock Holmes books, and when I first played the game and got to that level, I immediately recognized 221B Baker Street in Mike's conversation with himself, and I knew what was coming next! I liked the levels too, as they were more like mind games than anything else. I also thought it was funny that you got arrested! Haha! ;D

I picked chapter 9 because it brings back classic memories and it was fun

Althought Chapter 9 was the best for really bringing back the tropical feel to the game, I loved the Wild West! Well... I loved what they could have done with it if the chapter had of been better. I love the old west.
The saloon was great!!

I'm going with Chapter 9 on this one. I like this the best not only for the return of the tropical feel, but I also like the fact that you get to beat C-Serpent again...as well as fight the final Zoda The only part that I didn't like about this level was the fact that it felt too much like Mega Man in fighting all of the bosses again...although it was fun So yeah...[glow=red,2,300]CHAPTER 9[/glow] is my pick

I've chosen Transylvania, it's a bit different from the other chapters. In fact this place never existed really, it's a kind of surreal thing, and I like these surreal thingys.

Chapter 9 was my second choice for a favorite chapter, though I chose Chapter 4 in the end because I did think a lot of people would choose Chapter 9 as well, and I did want the results to vary a little bit. The same reasons apply for me as they did with everyone else as to why Chapter 9 was a favorite. Plus, I GOT TO KICK C-SERPENT's BUTT AGAIN! YAHOO!!!!!!

I liked Chapter Four in London as well. Catchy BGM, plus Sherlock was pretty cool.

Its a hard choice between chapters 6 and 7. I liked chapter 6 a lot because it was a break from the ordinary, there were no monsters to fight and i thought the part of hitting the metal ball thingys and getting them into the holes was fun. But I also like Chapter 7 because the enemys where better I guess... I liked the zoda-y boss too. Don't ask me why... I haven't played in a long time. (I gotta break out the old nintendo from on top of the fridge...)
But, in the end I think I'm voting for chapter 6 since no one else has.
P.S. (kinda off-topic) I liked Startropics II a lot. Whats with people dumping on it all the time? Sure it was different from the original, but it was still fun. Anyone else feel this way?

It's not that we dump on it...I love the game almost as much as the original. I think the only reason it's not as popular as the first is because of all the changes they made to it (no more Yo-Yo...weird awkward moving and jumping, etc.). That may just be my perception of it though...I could be wrong.

Admittedly, when ST II first came out in 1994, I was only 8 at the time, but still a MEGA HUGE ST fan, and for the next few years did consider it my favorite of the two, as it sorta brought the closure to the series that I had wanted so badly up to that point. So when I learned that a new one was being made, I jumped on getting my hands on it as quickly as possible!! ;D
The only reason I say ST is my favorite now of the two is because it was the original game, it had the original aspects that I grew to love in the series (that I couldn't have loved in the second game if the first game hadn't even been made in the first place), and because I love the tropics and everything associated with them!!!!

*bumps thread* Had to put my two cents in. :p
Anyhow, I loved the Wild West. I think the thing that I liked the most about it was the saloon. There's those guys hitting each other, and that good ol' cactus dance. I never get tired of it. :D *dances*
I also enjoyed playing through Chapter 3. I suppose I have a thing for Egypt, pyramids...pizza delivery people riding turtles with pizzas... :P Yeah. I thought exploring the pyramid was pretty fun, too. Even if the small mummy children, more often than not, got to be a nuisance. :P
Chapter 9 was nice. You got to go back to where it all started and see some old faces. It was also nice to hear some of Star Tropics' original music, too. :)
