So, uh... hi! I'm Famikun. I'm currently playing StarTropics, and I've come here because I'm really enjoying it. If you like something, you reach out to its fanbase, right? So that's what I'm doing! _{I think.}

I'm not very interesting, so I don't have a lot to say about myself otherwise. I like to draw sometimes, even though I'm not very good at it. I also like to _{waste time} spend time looking into the more obscure side of video games. You know. Weird accessories, vaporware, prototype builds, etc...

Anyways, introduction-of-debatable-quality aside, I hope we can be friends! _{Or that you can at least tolerate me.}

Hey:D Welcome to the Forums,trust me man,this community is nice and friendly with alot of friendly people on here who will treat you nicely on here unlike alot of terrible social media sites these days.

anyways thats great your currently playing Startropics which i've been a fan of it since 1990 which I grew up on the nes during the 80's I've beaten both Startropics and Startropics II: Zoda's revenge andi'm currently working on my own version of startropics so I hope we can be friends which i gave you a follow

Welcome to our Island, famikun! Tell us! When did you first discover StarTropics, and what caused you to come back to it this time? I hope you enjoy your time here. Activity isn't quite what it used to be, but there's still a core group of us left that make sure everyone gets their due attention and we're all quite friendly (at least I think so!).
Again, welcome, and feel free to take a look around, start some topics, dig up old ones, and have fun!

Thank you for the welcome! ★ I discovered StarTropics through Nintendo Power (a certain Howard & Nester comic, to be specific), and I decided to play it because I’d heard good things about its LoZ-type gameplay. Small communities are fun, too, so activity is everything~. Again, though, thank you for the warm welcome. ★

I would love to hear some more details about the StarTropics game you mentioned that you are making! We have a section of the forums specifically for those types of things, so if you feel like sharing with us your vision/progress of the game, feel free to toss some screenshots and technical jargon into a post over here
