Did you create that, yourself? If you did, then nice job. Here is a combination of that remix and this remix.

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

I like it! Basically the same song, with a little more edge to it, brings it a few years forward, but keeps the same basic tune intact. Nice job!

Yeah that's what I basically wanted. No funky style of the song being played. The exact same song structure, just tweaked up tones and nice drums in place of a noise track.
Basically what I did: The first squarewave channel, which is the melody of the song. was split into 2 parts. The left speaker is the original tone while the right was down 1 octave. It turned out funny, it sounded more like a pulse from the mixture of the 2 octaves.
Second channel was the tappy pulse channel, I think I basically did the same thing, can't exactly remember, but the right speaker kept the original tone from the original song, while the left speaker is playing a tweaked version.
Third channel which is your bass, which is a 8-bit triangle wave. This one is interesting. On the left speaker I retain the original tone from the song, but the right is based off of how they tweaked the bass on Zoda's Revenge to make some weird bongoish or something "gumg" sound or something. This was accomplished just like the did in ZR, which is using timed pitching. When the note is played, the pitch is 1 octave higher than the actual note, and it quickly drops down to the real octave, making the sound effect.
And then the beat channel which was originally the noise channel was replaced by drum samples. I used hiphoppish drum samples from the directory to make it more funky than some regular drum samples.
Anyways my goal was to make a remix that keeps the roots of the song but the tone was different. I don't really like how people sometimes just shoot remixes into an almost different song.

I have a feeling its pointless, but is there any place where i could find startropics excluding ocremix and olremix. i think startropics has some of my favorate songs on it.
