I think the Q should be changed a little because when you put a U beside it, the gap will look weird. Observe Also, this topic should be in ST General. Well, I did the Q that way for a reason. The ST Font seems to follow one simple guideline. That is the fact that every letter is the same height, no matter what. A is the same height as Z and W and C and all that. So by adding the tail to the Q under it... to me, it doesn't seem like it would be part of the same font anymore. -Miles

Right, but by the same argument, the width of most of the ST letters is the same too. The gap that your wider Q creates makes more of a negative difference in the aesthetic than a change in height. However, one can still adjust the width of the Q without altering the height:

Or, you could be in my shoes and take quark as how physicists refer to it, the stuff that makes up protons and neutrons... And no, I'm not going any farther with that explanation
