The film Goldeneye takes place in Cuba for a part of the movie. The scenes in the beginning of the time it takes place there look a lot like they've been taken from ST. And also the scenes involving the satellite in the film are reminiscent of the spaceship concept in ST.

I remember seeing one scene of a movie as a kid where these teenagers (guy and gal) were walking in a graveyard and a hand came out of the ground.. I thought it was the StarTropics movie... or maybe I just hoped it was. haha

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

Sounds a lot like Hocus Pocus to me too Matt... And, being a Bond fan, the final parts of Goldeneye do kinda remind me of ST, giving it some thought, but I think parts of Dr No and License To Kill, in terms of 007, hit it more on the spot... And yes, I've been on vacation all week, which explains my sudden disappearance...
