I don't know if this has been asked yet, and it might be hard for a lot of you to decide but pick your favorite song from each ST and also post which is most likely to be remixed for a party.
I would say that the one most likely mixed for a dance party would be the song form the level in ST2 containing the Haunted house with all those Frankenstein villains.
The best song however is the sanctuary song from ST1, it is the most unique of anything possible on the NES, very creative.

I love the sanctuary song from ST. When I was younger, and had ST dreams (well, actually, I sometimes still do), it usually featured that music playing in the background at some point. One of the reasons I've figured out that I became so attached to ST, learning this in recent years after developing an ear for music, is that the sounds and songs were so magnificient, and fit the themes of the game, along with the situation you were in at any particular moment, so perfectly well. However, if I wanted to pick the song that I most associate with ST, and the one that since has become like my own "tropical theme" is the original dungeon music. A close second would be the original overworld music. Both are tropical in nature, and provoke strong feelings of action and relaxation, respectively...

The music from the second dungeon of chapter 8 in ST 2.
I'm not sure about what music i'd like to see remixed though.

Oh shoot!!! I completely forgot that one MJ!! That song rocks too! It's got a great beat, and fits the moment great (you're almost at the end, just a little bit to go, destiny in your hands) All the dungeon music in ST2 is good though. The ending credits tune in ST2 is a classic also. A great tune to end the story (at least for the time being)...

i would have to say definately the standard dungeon music from ST1 (what can i say, it's hardwired into my brain!), but my second favorite is kind of obscure...the music in egypt when you chase the monkey through the grass...it's kind of annoying, but really catchy!

I'm a big fan of both the overworld and underworld music of the first ST...and I think my favorite music from ST2 is the music in Camelot...or the music in the second half of the Transylvania level...or the Cactus Dance music in the Old West town saloon

Yeah, the sanctuary music is the music that plays where you see those jars filled with pink poition in it. It fits really well with a dream and like a dream we can all remember maybe listening to it for the first time.

Does anybody know where I can dl the ST songs (main theme, dungeon music, sanctuary song, on and on...) in .wav format? All I have are the songs in MIDI (which doesn't work with what I need them for), and them in the format gellin uses for ST3. I haven't had luck in the past with trying to convert MIDI files into .wav's...
Thanks!! ;D
