There were walkthroughs and tips/tricks sections in magazines and in game guides, but never one specifically written just for StarTropics.
Nintendo Power ran articles on both ST and ZR...and I seem to recall there being walkthroughs of both games in a couple different Game Guides written for a multitude of NES games.

Yeah, I'm with S2H on this one. During the time of ST's release, there weren't many strategy guides that were written and released for single games only (think about it, the games weren't nearly as long and/or complex as they are today, we're talking about mainly just the NES and SNES consoles here). Nintendo Power, IIRC, used to feature complete walkthoughs and strategy info on about 3 or 4 different games in one issue, at one time. You definitely can't do that with the games today!!  |
