It's been more than several years since the last time I was in this forum.
Ever since Sea of Stars was released in Aug 2023, I played it twice, and I thought that could be the perfect game mechanic and game engine (Unity) needed to remake ST3 based on that layout.
Ever thought of that?
Sea of Stars could be what Startropics 3 would have been: retro graphics, retro music, a long story, open dialogues, open choices, side-quests, an open world (with a map), inventory system, an upgrade system, can jump a lot of areas, can climb into tall ridges/cliffs, can use a rope (even a yo-yo) to go to other places and can swim without dying.
Just wished if ST3 was like Sea of Stars but without the turn-based attacking system.
