I wouldn't worry to much. The chances of Nintendo ever seeing that video (or even going on you tube) probably arn't that big. I would just ask CKY to remove it and forget about this entire thing. But it's up to you.

I really dont think theres a problem, fan games are all over for every popular game, and its obvious to nintendo that this isnt a hack or a rom in any way. Especially since its not that popular of a game. Plus did you see the comments? There nothing but positive startropics, which means that these videos are getting people interested in the games, i dont see what nintendo would have against that.

We are going off topic here, but that doesn't bother me. XD
What is the best thing about the tribute video, in your opinion?

I just started to wonder why the song reminded me of weather broadcasting all of a sudden.

I have some bad news. YouTube removed my videos and suspended me, without telling me why.
Now, I'll have to upload my videos somewhere else, like ZippyVideos, PutFile.COM, MetaCafe, and other lesser-known video-sharing web sites.

Could Nintendo be getting rid of all free ST things in preparation for ST re-release?

Wishful thinking, Icarus.
Don't get me wrong...I'm pretty sure we're ALL wishing it...but I don't think that's the case.

Indeed S2H, though I'm wondering if Icarus meant ST's release on the VC, not ST3. Either way, indeed... Now, PH, you sure it wasn't some other video you posted PH? Could it have been one of your non-ST videos that caught their attention? I ask this for the elementary reasons, but also because, if you look, there are still a number of ST videos still on YT (including the now infamous ST3 one)...

Luckily StarTropics HQ still has your video. Do you think the reason you were suspended has to do with the video?

Yes, I was thinking VC.
I figure that Nintendo's ST plan might be like a Spirit Bomb/Genki Dama, the more energy you will to it, the more likely it is to kill Frieza, er..., I mean the more likely it is to cause ST to see daylight (or cave-light) once again.

It's not about the StarTropics fan video. I don't know exactly why I got suspended from YouTube. Here are some theories that might have caused this to happen: - Some videos I uploaded are copyrighted. Although, a lot of regular YouTube users uploaded a bunch of videos that are copyrighted, and never became suspended.
- Some YouTube user told YouTube to disable my account for one or more reasons.
- YouTube wanted to remove the videos and prevent me from uploading more, so they can prevent their web site from running too slow to users.
After YouTube suspended me, they also suspended someone name taipon, who was the one that only uploaded videos about video games, most notably for uploading speed runs of NES titles, as well as some titles on other platforms. Don't know why they suspended him, because I never did see all of the video he uploaded.

I really dont think they suspended you for the ST video, i mean, what else is youtube for but user composed videos?

It might of been because he used an emulator and ROM to get clips from the game. Maybe YouTube really doesn't like that.
