Very nice, indeed! In agreement with ya there Mitch! The posted comments seem to follow that same thought. ;D But, BTW, did you happen to notice who made the video? Props to ya man! BTW, what song was it that you used?

The song is "Fair Weather" (a.k.a. Better Than Nothing) by Trammell Starks. I got it from here.

Yeah that last dungeon is by MJ I believe. Someone sent it to me awhile ago to fix a bug that was occurring. I believe it was him but I could be wrong.

This is one of the videos I must've missed PH. You post so many of them I have a problem keeping up (dial-up doesn't help either)... LOL Are you sure that dungeon is MJ's gellin? I thought it might've been Tyrael's...

Yeah it might be his. I have a bad memory.
Edit: He was the one who originally sent me a PM about it but he said that he found it on YouTube, not put it up there so that's what I was thinking it wasn't him.

I did a local research guys... If you click on the user's name on YouTube, and scroll through some of his posts, you'll see 3 very familiar letters: CKY... It's CKY2K's...

Yep your absolutely right coralcola. I checked my PMs and sure enough it was his dungeon. I wish he wouldn't have claimed it was ST3 though since it contained the unofficial sprites and sound/music.

Yeah I always wonder what Nintendo would think. Would they be angry I'm making a game based on one of theirs or flattered? Or would this just disregard it completely in hopes that it is really good and may possibly spark life into a game that hasn't seen a new release in 13 years? The Zelda Quest editor thing has been around for a while now and they haven't pulled the plug on that yet so I'm really not too worried right now but who knows, maybe I should be.

It's up to you in the end gellin. If I were in your shoes, however, given how much time and effort you've put into the game, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Nintendo might not do anything if they find the clip online, but if they were to do a little more research, find out that you've made the ST3 website, been distributing it to everyone on the forum here and so on, then they might get a little antsy... Then again, what do I know.

If your concerned here's what I would do. Rename it something NOT StarTropics but still associated... Hmm Adventures of the Southern Cross? something original yet not the same. Once its renamed Change a few characters names. Instead of "Mike" how about... Don't mind me i'm gonna throw this out there at random... Mark or Scott? Once the main characters name is changed, a few simple color alterations on the tile sets to make them unique. After that a simple change of the weapon from a Yo-Yo to... ahem... LoL... A Ball-in-a-cup? I don't know... XD Once that has all been changed, I can assure you it would still have the same feel, but would have none of the things Nintendo would be after. Even IF they are, which odds are they aren't. I'm sure SOMEONE at Nintendo has seen this and not said anything or is watching it just because they are interested.
