Okay, so here's the question. I know some of you have a Wii and I am willing to bet ALL OF YOU have a GameCube. Twilight Princess is apparently being released for both consoles. So I am here to ask. Which do you think will most likely have the better control scheme? I own a GameCube and I will own a Wii sometime in January or February of 07. Should I buy LoZ for the Wii when I get one? Or should I buy it for the GC when its released for that? Also any LoZ comments are welcome here. Support the only other series of games that even could compete with StarTropics! :3 -Miles On a side note, does anyone have a good quality video from LoZ:TP that has link in wolf form howling the song of healing? The only ones I can find are on GameSpot and IGN and I cant save either of them to my hard drive because i'm not an Insider.

I would say just wait out for when you get a Wii...I imagine the controls will be a bit more straightforward with the GC...but they'll be more fun and versatile with the Wii's motion sensing abilities.

When I played it for the first time I was actully surprised how easy it was to control it on the Wii. I had always had concerns that game like SSBB and Mario Galaxy would be hard to play but now that I have gotten to try using the Wii remote I don't think that anymore.

Hmm, I've watched a bunch of video reviews and everything about TP looks awesome!
I do have another question if anyone has the answer. I know that TP was a game cube port to the Wii, so its not MADE to use the Wiimote as a controller. Though everything I hear says it works better with the Wiimote instead. BUT since the Wii has game cube controller plugs... Can you use the regular controller too if you want to? I would assume it would support either type of controller based on whatever you want to use... But correct me if I'm wrong... It would be stupid to remove the original controls completely. There has to be an option to use either one of them right?

Alright I have TP and I'm undecided on this as of right now. The Wii controls are nice when it comes to things like aiming your slingshot among other things. You have to also use it to swing Link's sword. It is pretty cool how it all works and everything but my arm is getting tired slashing my sword all the time. There's a good chance that it's only this sore though due to all of the Wii sports I've been playing. I think I may have threw out my arm during bowling or boxing. I'm getting old I haven't tried using a GameCube controller for it or anything but the instruction booklet and options inside the game show nothing about using it so I doubt it's possible.

Could I ask you to try if you haven't as of yet? I'm really curious. No rush though, I don't plan to get my Wii until late January.

The people over @ ign said they were playing for about 10 hous strait and theyre arms didnt get tired, they said its possible to do the right motions without much effort, so i wouldnt worry about the exhaustion thing.

My friends also say, owning the Wii themselves, that not much motion is really required to get Link, for example, to swing his sword. The amount of swing it would take for one to flick something away from in front of ya, or the amount of swing to toss a poker chip in the middle of a table, is all that's needed for the game to do what ya want it to. Go figure...

Right, I have seen videos on Google video and youtube showing people playing it. The motions don't seem that bad at all. I am in no doubt getting it. Basically now, I am just curious to as if you have a regular Nintendo game cube controller can you use it and get the game cube controls? it doesn't seem practical if they removed the entire game cube set up from the game... especially when you can use a game cube controller on the Wii anyway...
