Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

Go to this website and search for StarTropics and Zoda's Revenge... www.vgmusic.comDon't know if you already knew about that one or not, but that's the only place I believe we've found that has ST and STII music...

Yeah...and unfortunately those are all just midi files. It'd be great if we could gather mp3 files of all the music used in the game.
I suppose I could probably do it...but it'd take me a while.

I just finished my 7 hour project. It's the StarTropics Main Theme, complete with Helicopter Action! It's not the best, I know. I did this completely from scratch, with me and my trusty CASIO WK-3200. You'll need to wait a minute or two for it to fully load. livedigital.com/content/213864/

Not bad...but the music and the beat are a little out-of-sync in some spots. I like the steel drum sound it has though.

Nope, not bad at all! Helluva lot better than what I could do on a piano...

NSF files (Nes Sound Files) are the actual data from the cartridge of the sounds/music from the game. They are much smaller because unlike mp3, they arent the acutual sound waves. You can think of nsf files like midi, where all that is in the file is the music, or notes, and you need an interpreter, like another program, or a plugin for winamp, to play the music. I'm working on converting those nsfs into WMA format as i type (sorry, I really dont have any way to convert the resulting WAV files into mp3s...) Until then you can download those nsf files TiburonFeroz posted and also download Meridian Advance: www.zophar.net/utilities/gbs.html

Yeah, I realize there's an issue with the syncing. I still have the sound file, so I'll go on Audacity and attempt to fix it when I get a chance. EDIT: Fixed it. livedigital.com/content/221127/If by some chance you have this same keyboard as I do (CASIO WK-3200), I used SeashorG (522), Marimba (046), HelicptrG (525), and SteelDrG (514). It's much improved now. Oh, and for everyone's reference, here is the base for it: C G C* C G C* F A C F A C D A D* D A D* G B D G B D E B E* E B E* A C E A C E F A C G B D C B(flat) C B(flat) B(flat) C B(flat) B(flat) C * This is the next note up from the other one (meaning next C on the piano, or next D on the piano)Oh, and if anyone wants to use this for a flash video, go right ahead. As long as you give me credit as either Shecola or Alexi P. I might have to email it to you, though.
