Yes, I Can Read It In Your Eyes, And I Know What You're Thinking... Another One Of These Sites? Theres Been Wave After Wave Of Personal Info Sites, Plenty Of Fish, Hi5, Myspace, The List Goes On. However, When It Comes To Facebook I'm Addicted. I Can Never Get Enough, Its Like Crack. Anybody Else Want To Share Any Horror Stories?

I was on Facebook, until today when I accidentally deleted my account. It's a long and complicated tale of incompetence.

I have one too, but I don't check it often (same as with Myspace). I mostly use it to communicate with the fellow members of my college's academic team...

Alright, here goes:
-I had an account and I was on the UofT network -I created an event for the Toronto TransformersCon 2007 -I told my friend who directs the convention that we should use Facebook to help promote the convention -He created an account called "Toronto TransformersCon" -I asked him to give me the password to that account so that I could also use it and promote the convention -He gave me the password and I continued to promote the convention, but could not access groups that were in the UofT network since the Toronto TransformersCon account was not in the UofT network -I decided to make the Toronto TransformersCon account join the UofT network with my school email address -I got an email letting me join the UofT network -It said only one account from the email address is allowed to be attached to that network and that proceeding would remove my other, personal account from the UofT network -I thought that would be fine, as my personal account would be off of the UofT network temporarily -I proceeded and somehow not only did it remove my personal account from the UofT network, but it deleted my account altogether -Ironically, when the personal account was deleted it also deleted the Toronto TransformersCon 2007 event I had created in the first place

That IS a long and complicated tale...
I'm on MySpace (my plead here is that I was on it when it was still new...when nobody knew about it...when you could ask someone, "Hey do you have a MySpace?" and they would be all, "What's MySpace???" That's right) I'm on Facebook (also jumped on that when nobody else had it...back when it was just for select colleges) Have a YouTube account, but only have one video up as of right now Also just jumped in on Stickam...kinda like MySpace...only you can chat with people through video (huge lag though...like a 10-second delay on either end of the video)
That's the extent of my social networking...although I guess YouTube doesn't really count as social networking...whatever.
