Let's hear how everyone's summer went (what they did, interesting people they met, where they worked, fun things they did, etc.). I'll start:
I worked at a Christian summer camp (still do, really...off-season full-time work). I was a head cook in the kitchen and worked with about 10 other people directly. A total of about 2,000 people came through the camp this summer (kids and special-needs adults) and just over 600 of those people either gave or re-dedicated their lives to Christ this summer. Overall...it was an amazing experience. I got a girlfriend, still looking for a car (can anyone in the Boston, MA area help me out w/ this??!!), and I greatly increased my CD and DVD collection.
Who else wants to share? (Wow...that sounded like an AA question right there...lol).

Well, in my case, there's nothing real drastic to share. I'm still a Physics major, still in Maryland, still at home above the garage in my Tahitian and somewhat ST styled loft, and I still don't have a girlfriend (though I'm of the thought that might change very soon, details may come later). After feeling so burnt out at the end of the spring semester, I spent most of the summer laying back and relaxing. I didn't need a job, though I applied, I never got a return call *smirk* so it gave me a chance to prepare for this upcoming school year (and boy will I be happy I did). Though I'm only taking a handful of classes this semester, they are all quite a bit more intensive than "normal" (is there such a thing?) ones, so my time online will end up dropping quite a bit due to less free time. Being a junior though, I feel like I'm kinda now heading into the home stretch... YIPPEE!! Oh yeah, and I greatly increased my music collection as well! This done, by getting ahold of BearShare. So then, a good chunk of my summer has also been spent listening to 80's songs, Miami Vice hits, and Jan Hammer instrumentals. I've acquired a taste for modern rock and instrumental music that I'd never imagined I would... And of course, I played a lot of video games. WHAT ELSE IS NEW?? ;D ;D ;D

Well I've been pretty lazy for the most part. I work every day 8-5 but I did manage to get in quite a bit of golf so far this summer.
I also stood in my cousin's wedding and got to go back home across to the other side of the country and see all most of my friends and relatives. Other random summertime fun like going to the beach, jet skiing, etc.
The big news is that I start my new job next Tuesday where I will be making PSP games (I have a thread about it somewhere in the Off Topic section)

This Summer Here On East Coast Canada Has Been Whay I've Dubbed "The Summer Of Love" ;D Not Because People Are Falling Victim To Cupids Arrow... But Because People Have Been Throwin Furious Fists-A-Plenty. I Pretty Much Lurked Indoors Or The Woods Until The Weekend Rolled Around & When It Arrived... I Partied. There Was A House Party Here Just Shy Of Every Weekend. And There Was A Brawl At Pretty Much Every One. A SWAT Team Had To Come & Break Up The Worst One. Blood Gore The Whole Nine... I'll Finish This Later Right Now I Gotta Book It... Anyways Time To Finish It... Other Than All The Fights & Drunkeness... I Spent Days Running Through The Forest With My Friends & Playin Super Metroid, Spent Nights Kickin It With The Ladies & Recording Songs (I'll Post Some Up Once I Master Them)

This summer I didn't do as many outside activites as last summer. I finally got a Virtual Boy and 7 games for it. I have spent alot of time playing that and Runescape on the computer. About 2 weeks ago I started playing LOZ: The Wind waker again trying to get everything before the summer ended. Unfortuneatly I'm still missing 11 pieces of heart and 3 treasure charts. I have been to Canada's Wonderland almost 40 times (and I'm going today and maybe more times after). My friends family rented a cottage for a week and invited me to go with them so that was fun.
Overall I had a pretty good summer. I'm starting to get ready for highschool which I'm looking forward to.

I know your opinion on guides/hints MJ, but ones like those on GameFaqs can really help you out... I didn't need it to find the heart pieces, but to get some of the other optional things and complete some of the side quests. With games like Windwaker, you could spend months upon months trying to find EVERYTHING without some help here or there...

My summer was filled with work, and a girl. I animated on a Flash show that's on CBC now (The Secret World of Og). The animation business takes up a LOT of time! And so does having a girlfriend. That was the basics of my summer -- it was really really awesome.

It's not online. It's a tv show for kids here in Canada. It's on CBC, Saturdays at 9:30! Watch it if you can!

Very cool! First CBC, then Hollywood, right!? ;D
If I had access to the CBC, I would check it out, but, given I don't have satellite, and I don't live in Canada, I'm kinda stuck...
