It seems, especially recently, that I've been reading more and more on here that people would love to have an "ST convention," of sorts, so all we nerdy C-Island types can talk and see each other face to face. I've thought about how this could be done for quite a while now actually... ;D

Well, I've determined I can't get an ST convention together by myself (WAAAH!!! ), but for any and all who just wanna see each other face to face, how would you like this to be the place to put pics of yourself?

You'd need an account with one of the image-uploading websites (the one I recommend is photobucket). To post a pic, click the "insert image" button on the toolbar above the message area on the post message screen (the button looks like a small portrait), it's on the bottom row, fourth from the left on mine. You'll see something similar to what comes up when you're quoting someone, with the beginning and end "markers" placed in the message. Instead of placing the quote you wanted to include between the markers, you'd place the URL of your pic. Sounds simple enough??

Maybe this thread can, for now, be the place where ST members can meet each other face to face, and have our own sorta "ST Convention."

I also had a pet duck named GoodLuck Duck up until last December. She was 13 years old! That's OLD for a duck!

It's really weird seeing what everyone looks like. Sometimes I think that this forum is full of a bunch of kids...but this has helped to snap me back to reality and know that most of you are all about the same age. I curse my own closed-mindedness about this whole situation lol

I first played StarTropics as soon as I saw that television commercial advertising it, I use to love beating up the C-Serphant, while Octo the Huge made me quit playing StarTropics. I never did notice the sequel back when it was released. I wish that someone would upload both commercial ads on YouTube.Com and GameAds.GamePressure.Com.
