For some unknown reason, I've had the theme to the alien spaceship level (Chapter 7 I think) of the original game playing in my head for the last 15 minutes or so. This is despite not having played or even seen the game in a few months. I've had other songs in there before, like the boss victory music in ZR, the monkey maze music, and of course the main dungeon theme from ST1. What experiences have you had of getting random Startropics songs stuck in your head?

The ST2 ending song loops infinitely in my brain once it gets in there. From ST1 there are three songs that hardly leave my head. The sailing song, the overworld music, and the one called "It was for the Children" which is one of my alltime favorite videogame songs ever.

Zoda's Theme from ZR has a tendency to get stuck in my head (although the fact that it's my ringtone for when work calls might have something to do with that), and both the victory themes. Not to mention the end credits from ZR (although I like the bridge to the ending, so it doesn't loop in my head), and the music that plays in ST1 when Mica talks (is that the one you were referring to, Shini?). But the surprising answers (almost as surprising as the length of this list) are the overworld themes from both Egypt and the Ice Age in ZR.

I've had the monkey chasing music from ZR stuck in my head all weekend...very strange since I haven't played ZR in about a year and a half...

Ah, can't forget the credits OSTs in 1 and 2, especially in 2. Love the final part of that song especially.

My list: Startropics 1-credits THIS. I'm listening to it right now, actually. On a quick side note, sorry for the long absence, all.

Of recent, the main theme and the underworld theme have been playing moreso in my head. However, on a more regular basis, those two plus the underworld theme from ST2 and the overworld theme play through regularly as well... /It's the CV 4 music that's stuck in my head right now, it's addicting as hell. As I'm writing this now, I'm listening to Simon's Theme...

This happens to me all the time.
From ST, I get the spaceship dungeon and overworld themes and the victory theme. From ZR, I get the Zoda boss battle theme and several dungeon themes.
Those are my favorites.

The sub theme cruising around the ocean always got in my head as a kid. It can repeat forever and will not get old.
