In order to make a very good Flash movie, here are the needs:
Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with Image Ready Creative Wave Studio (got it) Audicity (got it) A printer with the copy, scan, fax, and print functions (got it) Blank sheets of paper (for drawing sprites similar to the ones on Street Fighter III) Good Drawing Skills
AND
Good Script Writing Skills.

What would be the total cost (if any) for all of those programs?

If I bought Photoshop 7.0 and Flash MX 2004 both at a local store, I would say around $500 total, but if I bought them on eBay, they would be cheaper.

Hey, I found this, will it work instead of Flash MX 2004? www.3dfa.comFirst, I'll have to create sprites of my own, by taking a blank sheet of paper, draw them slightly and accurately, so I won't make any mistakes. Second, I'll transfer them to my PC. Third, I'll use Photoshop to edit them, and create sprite sheets and animated GIFs. Fourth, try out both Flash kits, and see which is better. Fifth, write some scripts. Sixth, beginning creating Flash movies using the Flash kit that is easier to use. And finally, upload the sprite sheets, animated GIFs, and the Flash movies online.

It was pretty cute. Not the best, but it makes me happy that people acknowledge that it exists

Who needs pencil and paper?? anyone ever heard of sprite sheets or emulators?? I have flash 6, and a movie like that one did not require much coding, if any.
Maybe i'll make something, anyone got any ideas?
