*Summons random monster* Why is this place so QUIET! It's not like there's not much to talk about! I mean, we could discuss ST...3.... or we could discuss Mike in SSB...4... or we could always play the boredom games.... or discuss the fan.. projects... Ok, so it's all been done for a while... *sigh* it's time to start wowing again.. *shuts himself in his secret lab to work on his next big ST project*

Yes, since fan games require more time than anyone old enough to remember ST seems to have, your comics and the like have quickly become the heart and sould of the fandom. Otherwise, we're just kind of a bunch of folks sitting around going "hey, remember that game where..." As for a fanfic, I've got two, but I'm reluctant to call attention to them on this site where everyone remembers Erico's story. I mean, how do you follow that act? And fan art? well, what's there that hasn't been done? So, yes. It's up to you to wow us again.

Well I'd love to make something so great, that I'd draw attention from official sources as well.
This year I want to make an all out offensive fanboy barrage with ST themed fan-arts. This game has GOT to get famous. NOW! XD

I mean, yes, I did say Erico's was the greatest story I've ever read (Yes, I'm Kuwabara Shizuru on fanfiction.net. Look me up if you have any interest in crossovers and obscure games other than Startropics. On that note, I'm also ThatGuyWithStuff on Deviantart), but I loved your stories as well. I'd really like to see you update with chapter 14 to Southern Cross Dream and chapter 4 to Love at Second Sight, though. Of course, I don't want to sound like I'm telling you you need to do anything right away, though, as I would be acting hypocritically (I haven't updated Shi's Having a Baby in like three YEARS. I keep meaning to go back to it and either real life stuff or massive writer's block interferes) and I know you've probably got lots of other things to do. I have no idea where I was going with this. Anyway, yeah. I'm working on a ST fanfic currently. If I can finish it, I'll be posting it here as a contribution toward the continued activity of the board. Edit: I just looked up SHAB's update. It's actually been FOUR AND A HALF YEARS since I updated it.

I haven't been too active lately. I try to comment on things when I can although sometimes I can't think of anything to say .

I'm afraid I've been busy as always, putting too many things on my plate you might say. I just got a new comp and havent installed game maker on it so i havent worked on that project for awhile. And now i gotta send it in to get fixed and they're gonna wipe it clean so no point installing anything . And I have no writing skills to speak of, maybe i'll do some fanart or something and try to help shini ;D

I've been working on my life concerns, and some new ones arrive a lot. I've also had it with all them crappy projects several contributors make for M.U.G.E.N, especially these Evil/God/Angel/Rare/Omega/Mecha/whatever Ryu/Ken/Akuma/Dan/Sean/whoever projects they release that make M.U.G.E.N boring. What M.U.G.E.N needs is more protagonists and main icons from several different games by different companies, including Nintendo's like Fighter Hayabusa, Starfy and Mike Jones.

Good to hear from you guys again.
Me? Well, I've been working on my thesis, and being a TMNT nerd again for the first time in 15 years perhaps? Reading comics, watching the movies, watching episodes from the 2003 cartoon... playing the games, etc.
I haven't been drawing at all, lately. Last thing I drew was a sketch... Nothing worth showing, though. And I've made two more of those Brawl style NEWCOMER profile pics. One of "Michelle" and one of Alice from Balloon Kid.
I've also been working a bit on getting my own busyness running. An arcade game center. I hope everything goes well. We're still on the very first stage. Looking for good investments.

Yes... I'm still around... WHAT!? I've been lurking, usually visiting on average once a day, but I haven't felt the urge to post anything in recent memory (either cuz someone posts my opinion/idea before me and there's no need to repeat it I feel) or it's not something that is of any particularly prudent contribution to the discussion... My continued job hunt has continued, and in continuation of prior progress, has continued to fall flat on its face... (Poet? nah) So, I've now started taking some Graduate level math classes to bide time and not leave a huge gap in my resume, the one class people here would find interesting being Cryptography (the other being Real Analysis, aka the Theory of Calculus, which doesn't seem up many of ya'lls alleys... ). I've had prior experience with Crytography before (yes, even outside ST you goofs) so I went in with a good background, but getting back into the academic swing of things, when I haven't been there in over a year, and at that, at the Graduate level, has ate up my time and has been a bit of a challenge. But it looks like now I'll be alright, and I'm on track to getting that 4.0 GPA I constantly seem to need to keep my conscience or w/e intact... VG wise, I've continued to stay in my time warp and have been playing through, when I have the chance, my recently (recently as in the past 2 years now, lol) acquired NES and SNES games, including FF3, LOZ: Link to the Past (which I recently beat for the first time after my data-loss incident I mentioned elsewhere on here), the Ninja Gaidens, Contras, Double Dragons, the Castlevanias, and revisiting some titles I've had longer, to see how my perspective on them has changed, including FF: Mystic Quest, LOZ and LOZ 2, FF1, and the Mega Man's (still loving MM9 too!). It also looks like I'll very soon be acquiring an XBOX 360 Elite soon (XMAS), all the games I want not made for the Wii are on it, and so I can possibly more easily communicate with my sister, my brother-in-law (who's in the Navy) and my nieces and nephew, currently stationed at Guantanamo Bay, all whom I'm close with. Looks like I might be heading down that way to visit them sometime soon too. Part of why I say XMAS for the 360 (and why I've also been absent), though, is because I've stepped up in some recent family matters i.e. assisting my mother, who's not been feeling the best, supervising an aunt who has recently separated and is on disability, and staying with my grandmother who was hospitalized again with cardiovascular difficulties (even though they're all saying I shouldn't be worrying about such even though there's nobody else with the information/time/capabilities to help them) and they're all saying I have enough to worry about. Considering that whenever they also asked me what I wanted for XMAS and I no longer have a list a mile long like I did just a few years ago, I'm not sure if I should tell them not to anyway (and I'm not so vain as to think that I couldn't at the least ASK for one for XMAS, if I ever were to ask, and even if I don't get it). SO NOW, that I've spilled my Summer 09 life story much to your boredom and unamusement, hopefully I'm back and posting regularly again, and some topics will spike up again someway somehow! ;D
