Sitting around today, bored as can be, I started thinking about ST (what a surprise, ehhh?) and I thought "Every other forum I'm on has a trivia section, but ST doesn't!" So then, I made up some trivia questions, and anybody who gets them right gets a hearty congratulations, a snickers bar, and $1,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or, maybe not, I would like to finish college first... If anyone has their own trivia questions, post them and see how many fans you can stump, and who the first person is that posts the right answers! 1. What does Nav-Com stand for? 2. What island town in ST has the longest name? 3. What is the name of the first boss you fight on Zoda's spaceship? 4. What is the full name of the "paired* bosses you fight right before rescuing Dr. J? 5. What is the true name of cave where you fight these bosses? 6. What town do you visit before being swallowed by the whale? 7. What is Po's Poem? Good Luck!

Great idea to make up trivia questions.
Believe it or not I can barley answer 1 question.
Nav Com=Navigational Computer
I never really payed attention to names of anything except Characters( Not including bosses) and C-Island.
For Po's poem I havn't memorized it
If enough people had questions it would be neat to have a trivia section on the forum.
I have questions but I think one set is enough for now. I will post them later!

I'm with michaeljones. I'm stuk on all of those. But I never really read the Star Tropics book that came with the game, so the enemy names I've never known.

Well, if it makes ya feel any better, you got the first one right! For the second one, think about it a little bit, it's not the most important town in the game, but it's there! To also clear up something that may be a little confusing, the cave that I want the name of is the cave right before you meet with Dr. J. HAVE FUN! ;D

question-2-answer
The village with the longest name is Howduyadu-cola
question-3-answer
The first boss(es) you fight on zoda's space ship is/are Jet pack jumper(s)
question-4-answer
If you really mean RIGHT before Dr. J the it is The Statues of Twin Sumocho. If you don't mean them you mean the 2 Hoodoo dolls.
question-5-answer
The tunnel's name is BIG ROCK TUNNEL.
question-6-answer
The village is called tunacola!
Ihope these answers are right (I'd look like a fool if they wern't. 4 is definatly right though.) Hopfully I'll have answer 7 soon enough. Can anyone beat me to it?

So far, so good! I believe most of these answers are on Mitch's website, but I wasn't sure. If you had the NES game atlas, most of these could've been answered after a little browsing. Next time, I'll have to avoid that and make them a little harder...

Ya these answers were easy to find on the net. Q1- this question was easy because you just had to changes the abreveations to full words. I had never used the term navigational computer before but it was olbvious. Q2, Q5 & Q6- VG maps Q3 & Q4- Mitch's site. Q7 is the only one I will need to use the game for! Still the question were very good!

I've got some time:
1. Navigational Computer 2. Howduyadocola 3. Jet-Pack Jumpers 4. Twin Sumocho Statues 5. Crap...I can't remember 6. Tunacola 7. Crap...I can't remember
Well...I got 5 out of 7 from pure memory without looking at anyone else's answers (I promise!)

Good job S2H! I believe you too. Oh come on! Nobody's got Po's Poem yet? You can even use review mode on the game to go to level 3 and find out! The poem isn't exactly memorizable, though, after reading it a few times, I'll admit, I've tried...

BING BING BING! TELL EM WHAT THEY WON JOHNNY!!! ;D Indeed, your slogan is most appropriate, for being the first to get it, I dub thee today's unofficial GAME MASTER! Since you MJ got the other 6 correct first, you'll be getting the coveted snickers bar! I put it in the overnight delivery bag...CONGRATULATIONS! Yes, I know, I do have a corny sense of humor.
