It's true what you say, coralcola. 22 definitely does feel very similar to 21...only with a bit more distinguished pride for having made it successfully around the sun once again.

Haha! Thanks! I've never seen that before PH, that was hilarious! It was a strange birthday this year for me (24th). I handled the whole "getting older" bit the best I have in a long time (best for sure as an adult), so the whole quarter-life crisis bit I've mentioned before might be going away (helps that I'm constantly being told by people they think I'm still in my teens). However, I was sick with food poisoning the week OF my birthday, and really was only able to get back on my feet THAT day (some birthday present...). The next day, I flew out to visit my half-sister, nephew, and nieces who were back in the states for a vacation from Gitmo (bro-in-law is stationed there), so that's where I was this past week, and partly still recovering from my illness the first couple of days. I do think I'm better now though... Quite an eventful month nonetheless, if I must say so...

Yea I did 24 this year as well. The past year marks my first ever full-time job, my 2-year anniversary of being married, just bought our first home a couple months ago...d**n I'm old!!
But still very much young at heart. I play video games more often now than I ever did when I was growing up as a child. ST and ZR make their way into my playing schedule at least once a month lately.
Anyone around here play disc golf? I just picked up this game about a year and a half ago and I've gotta say, it's a blasty blast! Definitely a lot of fun for people who loved Ultimate in high school or college and are too old/out of shape/both of the above to play seriously anymore. I have a course very nearby so I try and play once a week now that the weather is nice.
Okay I'm done rabbling now.

I've played it for YEARS now (only for fun, no competitive). My dad is from Lancaster, PA, and there's a park there that has an 18-uhhh basket/hole? frisbee golf (as we call it) course, and every time we went up there, we played through it. Lots of fun, indeed, but because we haven't gotten up there as much in recent years as we did before, it's been awhile since we've played it...
