What is your funniest memory in St or St2? Or what else memorable happend during the game that you will remember always? - Well, i think it was fun when Mike talked with Miss Mira i guess? Then she asks which is prettier, she or coral. And if u answer wrong she's so pissed .. It was quite fun also, when you go and talk to the pig he just saws you some ass. There's also other funny people in villages, but i can't remember everything right now. Sometimes screams of the bosses when they die have been quite fun to watch. Edit: Oh and when i was little and when you die that mm .. old granny comes to chat with you. Well i thought she's evil when i was little.

I find the conversation with Queen Shecola quite entertaining. Also, when you find Dr. J and he just forces you to fight the aliens, lol.

My two favorite parts are when you are in Coralcola and talk to the pig and he shows you his butt...yummy...rump roast. My other favorite funny part is at the end of the 6th chapter when you find Dr. J. If you talk to him again after the first time...he asks you if you have bananas in your ears. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that!

The whole bananas in your ears gag was awesome, I even got it when I was 5. First Dr. J asks you if you have bananas in your ears, then Zoda gets inside your head and you jam bananas in your ears, then at the ending "slideshow" its got a picture of mike jaming bananas in his ears! Haha!

Ditto those bananas! I also thought it was funny when you told Miss Mira that Miss Coral was prettier, her response: ".........." lol.

I liked the slideshow at the end. I had never seen a videogame with a slideshow before - reminded me of the ones that some TV sitcoms had back in the 1980s.
Anyone ever notice that, in the slideshow, the lighthouse looks sort of like, uh, let's just say, something other than a lighthouse? (Beat the game and view the slideshow and you should see what I mean).
The scene of Mike running away from the big rock reminded me of the movie Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
Another thing I liked was dipping the letter in water. When I was reading a walkthrough in one of Jeff Rovin's How To Win At Nintendo Games books, I was confused when they said dip the letter in the sink. I thought it was actually something in the game. I kept trying to maneuver the joystick, hoping I'd find a sink somewhere in the submarine. As I read closer, I realized that the letter came with the game and, since I'd rented it at the video store, of course, the letter wasn't there anymore.

The scene of Mike running away from the big rock reminded me of the movie Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I'm pretty sure that was what they were going for, and they did it quite well, as we all have seen. Personally, I thought it looked like a big tower with an eye sticking out of it. However, the way I read your post, it seems you're implying it looks like something, ugh, for mature audiences. Did I understand you correctly? If so, then I MUST insist that you be led by the ear to the sink where you're supposed to dip Dr. J's letter, to have your mouth and mind washed out with soap... ;D

OK, I'll contact Mike's uncle and have him do the honors. Yes, I was implying something X-rated. Actually, my cousin, who was twelve at the time I was playing the game, was over at my house at the time and when he saw the lighthouse, he told me, "That looks like a ...." And, I had to admit, it did. We'll leave it at that, though. I don't want to be banned from here on my second day.

Yeah, that is indeed what I mean. That said, I'm wondering if they meant to make it look funny, so some of the gutter minds playing the game (or in my cousin's case, watching someone play) would think it was funny. Sort of like Super Mario World-2: Yoshi's Island, when the tall beige tower with the red roof blows up (if you've played that game then you probably know what I mean). There was another part of Startropics that was funny in sort of a morbid way. Mike reaches an isolated island with one hut, in which he finds the body of a man who must have died decades before (since all that was left was skeletal remains). Mike says, "Who was this? Initials, R.C... Hmm...Rob Crusocola?" Here are two pictures of it.

Yes, he's holding his trusty island yo-yo, the weapon that practically saved his life...
