Naaah.... play it on the Revolution, of course! Then you could play all the previous games too, so if it came out on GC, you'd just wait to buy a Revolution and then play it on that.

Have you ever heard of/played the game, StarTropics? If so, start out by clicking on the link in the first post of this thread to sign a petition that we've got going to try and convince Nintendo to make a third game to this incredible series that died out after its second game release for the NES. Then go through the threads on this forum and have fun! Welcome to the C-Island forums!

I'm anxious to post this petition on Nintendo's official boards but if you post a link that take you to a page that contains a virus, spyware, bad pictures etc, then you get banned. Anyone know if petitionsonline has spyware or anything on their website?

Were u ever able to do that Michaeljones? That would be a great way for it to get signatures. I wish I knew how Nintendo's boards worked, otherwise I might be able to help you with trying to do that...

I'm still planning on doing that. Signing up for nintendo's board isn't to hard. Just go to they're site and click sign up. There are benifits for people who have nintendo power subscriptions but that really dosn't matter. about the petition I'm wondering what the outcome would be though. Is it a good or bad thing to let nintendo know we are making this petition?

I think it could definitely be a good thing. It's probably better to let them know ahead of time just so that when they DO get the petition, it won't be like some crazy wackos trying to stir up games that nobody at Nintendo remembers. This way, it'll give them time to remember the greatness of their past as well haha. Seriously, though...it could definitely be good.

That's a REALLY good idea! The folks at the Nintendo.com forums would be great. I'm pretty confident that petitiononline doesn't have any spyware.
I'm excited to see if StarTropics will make it to the Revolution.

Well, guys and gals, it's a bit late to call it a Christmas present, but maybe a LATE Christmas present, or a New Year's present or something, but our petition has just reached 400 posts!!! WHOOPEE! ;D So then, for the statistical part of it, over the course of the past 9 months (it was started on March 3, 2005) the petition has had 400 signatures, meaning that an average of about 44.4 signatures were added each month, and over the course of the 43 weeks it has been active, there were an average of about 9.3 posts a week, and an average of 1.3 posts added each day. At this rate, we should hit 1000 posts at about March 30, 2007, and 2000 posts around April 17, 2009 (my 23rd b-day!). Questions, comments, thoughts, or ideas anyone?

Some people have signed twice though Ah well. I'm sure we've got at least 350 legit signatures.

The thing about signing it twice though is that most people who look at a petition like that probably won't actually go through and read all the people and comments that are on there *I hope*. But you're 100% correct in saying that Shecola. *EDIT* Oh, about those stats. I've become pretty quick at doing stuff like that, given what I've had to do in school and all, it has become a necessity. It took me only about 10 minutes to figure them out. Unfortunately, though, 2007 and 2009 are the accurate dates in those calculations. My hope was that somebody could provide some ideas as to how we could possibly speed up the process to reaching 1000 or even 2000 signatures. Somebody, anybody?
