Hey guys, Lucas from IGN here. This isn't 100% confirmed yet, but StarTropics is very likely going to be debuting on the Virtual Console this upcoming Monday, January 7. Time to rally the forces and get this hidden gem noticed! I'll be doing my part.

Oy, glad Nintendo made sure everyone knew, if it's true!  Seriously though, there's been zippo notification of ANYTHING about ST on the VC, except it was released on Japan's about a month back. I would've assumed NOA to have the common sense to put ST on their most recent list (whenever the heck that was) of upcoming VC releases. Don't they try to put one of those out every week or two?? |

You're kidding!! Is this for real!? If it is... FINALLY!!!! And as far as I know, Japan still hasn't gotten a hold of this title yet.. (I wonder how it'd look like in Japanese,  ) Anyway, good to know. Let's hope it's true. |

IT'S SERIOUS! DEAD SERIOUS!  The Virtual Console boards on the Nsider 2 have confirmed it as well! Startropics AND KOF94 are both coming out for the VC!! Two AWESOME games!! d**n.. I want BOTH! They'll be my first VC games.. um... actually.. ST alone will have to do.. as I don't own a Classic Controller to play KOF94  Anyway.. this is the real deal! People are already hyped for ST. It may be underrated.. but it sure has a good reputation. ^_^ |

It's been released!!!!!!!! Hopefully this will stir up some excitement for the game. Now if only they would put Mike in SSBB in some way, they we may finally get to see another sequel.
