It's not that we don't like them it's just that mike can't swim so how does that fit. If you couldn't swim would you stay above the water for 22 seconds without even moving?

It's not that I don't like your ideas. They just don't coincide with mine. I didn't like the idea of having less max hearts. But that sparked my idea of a hard mode that will increase the difficulty. You're right about the water idea though. I don't like that at all.

Don't feel bad. Everyone eventually has an idea that others don't like.

Good to know you're willing to take the ideas we're throwing at you, though, gellin. I can't wait for another demo!

Minor update today. The only change is that I fixed the way vertical jumping looks.
I played around with some different jump attack type things but couldn't find anything that I really liked with the way things worked and looked. So for now it is going to stay the same. This may be changed further down the road but I plan on doing more of the game and seeing how it affects gameplay before I make any more decisions on this.

Would it be possible to make a green and blue potion? Green could fill 10 hearts and blue could fill them all!

Another smart idea from michael jones!
Hey, gellin, if you'd like any help (drawing stuff, or writing stuff, whatever) don't hesitate to ask me.

how about doing the same with the hearts that enemies drop. you can have red for refilling 1 heart. Green(which would be rarer) would fill 2 hearts and the rarest,Blue, would fill 3 hearts. Plus, I think the same thing with the stars would be cool. Also, how about, like in a chest, a flashing heart that would quickly flash red, green and blue. An when you touch it, whatever color it was on when you touched it would give you 1, 2 , or 3 hearts.
(Praying: Pease like this idea..please like......)

Why are you so desperate for your ideas to be liked? The flashing heart idea sounds cool though, reminds me of something from Donkey Kong Country. I like the idea of coloured hearts and coloured potions, but not coloured stars. Another idea is that some green potions could (randomly) turn black as you use them and instead take away life (as if the potion has gone bad and has become poisonous).
