So ok, it can be argued that having it on my laptop meant I already had it with me wherever, but now its more so. I recently upgraded to an android smartphone, and installed an emulator for NES called Nesoid. The only drawback that will probably keep me from playing it (aside from battery life) is that I don't have a physical keyboard, so its touchscreen only. And that isn't very easy to us.

Nice. I have PocketNES on my Gameboy Advance/DS flashcart, and I have both StarTropics and Zoda's Revenge on it. They play great.
I love it.

Very nice! What flashcart do you use for the GBA? I only really know about good DS ones.

M3 Perfect. Hands down the best flash cart for the GBA, but it's been out of production for years. You won't find one without trading on a flash cart related site, but they're already super rare now. I'm lucky mine even still works, as I've had to fix parts on it recently.
But yeah. PocketNES, works flawlessly, looks great for both ST1 and ZR.

Cool! How do I put Nesoid on my phone? I'm looking at nesoid.com now, but I find it a little confusing. I'm not sure where the download link is.

I honestly don't remember. I wiped my phone last spring so I don't have it anymore, and I really don't have any desire to put it back on there. The touchscreen was just too difficult to use imo.
I think I downloaded the .apk for nesoid and transferred it to my phone rather than using the market, but beyond that I don't know any specifics, and honestly unless you have a large screen on your phone it's probably not worth it.

Is there any NES emulators for smartphones that use the slideout keyboard? I'd think that would be more efficient in playing than a touchscreen. I honestly hate typing or any kind of touch responses that need to be fast, as it doesn't work well.
It's one of the reasons I'm really glad I still have my GBA/DS flashcart since an actual controller feels right at home.
Anyways, I got bored and beat ST1 weeks ago, and at chapter 9 in ST2. Good stuff. I need to get my gamecube + gameboy player so I can play NES games on my TV again.
By the way Michael Jones, the M3 Perfect also functioned as a DS flashcart if you have a passcard for slot 1.

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

That setup is some kind of awesome. I'll have to look more into doing this in the future (and when my wallet is slightly more thicker than it is right now).
