I wouldn't be surprised to see Mr. Sandman and Super Macho Man, since they and Bald Bull are very well-known characters. However, I'm not making any absolute guesses yet.
Anyway, from what I've been reading, Disco Kid may be the ONLY new guy in the entire game. Honestly, I like the nostalgia of the old guys, but some more new faces wouldn't hurt, either.
PS: The Mexican man was called Masked Muscle

UPDATE: The second Super P-O! boxer is... ARAN RYAN?!?! Honestly, I could've picked someone way better.
Great Tiger is also on the roster, though, so that's nice.

Yeah, looks like it is Aran Ryan. Hmm.. is his name supposed to be a double anagram for Aryan? As in the enhightened german race? Oh well, this game is basically nothing but stereotypes so. While I agree with you on how they could've at least put somebody better (like, Nick Bruiser), at least I'm glad they didn't include Dragon Chan, Hoy Quarlow, or those who use illegal fighting syles. That's what made Super Punch Out look like a game based on UFC instead of boxing. I heard Aran Ryan uses some kind of grab technique, which could be implemented well. But of course, Aran Ryan was the last person on my mind they would include. He was probably the least memorable boxer in all 4 games. Even Bob Charlie was more memorable.

Roster update time! Snooping around the net, I've got the complete list: Glass Joe Von Kaiser Disco Kid King Hippo Piston Hondo (not a typo; they changed the spelling) Bear Hugger Great Tiger Don Flamenco Aran Ryan Soda Popinski Bald Bull Super Macho Man Mr. Sandman (he's the Dream Fight) And... someone who only appears in Title Defense. It's not a known boxer from the series, but he's famous. How High Can You Get?

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

I really have great hopes for the game, and I think it'll be a smash, but I still dunno if I'll end up getting it. I'll have to judge from personal opinions (here included) on how it is. The game, depending on how well Nintendo works the game itself, the controls, and overall mechanics, could be the coolest thing since sliced bread *or SSB: Brawl* or an absolutely deplorable wreck. I'm really, of course, hoping for the former... With what I've read, so far, about it though, it seems like they are putting the time into they need to *and hopefully that includes A LOT of test trial time* and are going the right direction in the stylizing of the game, which gives me my great hope.
