The ending was pretty well done, and I enjoyed watching Zoda's spaceship taking off and getting destroyed by Mike. I used a time attack video to show me how to beat the entire title. And when I started playing a little bit of Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II, it made me feel like I first played MOTHER 3 (known as the next EarthBound title). I even enjoyed that part where Mike Jones warped threw the book.
It seriously makes me want to create flash movies about overlooked Nintendo titles (including Japanese titles and both StarTropics titles), but I'm going to have to save my money for a good flash studio kit and a tutoring guide book for it. Eventhough there are some tutorials online, but I couldn't find many of the important ones.
Right now, I don't have very much time to do them, because I have to help my family with some things and work on my college work throughout this entire year.

Yeah, I love how ST takes that HUGE twist in the end, going from a completely tropical-styled game to an alien/spaceship game in one chapter, and it still works!!
I wish I knew how to make Flash movies too PH. I'd have plenty of material to write about, besides just ST (which is enough just by itself anyway!)...

Good job on beating ST1. ST2 difficult in some places so if you need help just ask.

Nicely done. I love the end. Good luck on ST2
(Ps, Flash animation software (I looked it up, sense I wanted (And still do) to make flash) is $700! (That's Macromedia, BTW))

*bump*
I finally beat Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II. The ending was okay, but when I combine that with Nintendo's decision to not bring back the StarTropics series (unless they change their mind), it makes me feel sad and want Mike Jones in SSBB and more StarTropics.

Who knows, if Animal Crossing got in Brawl why not StarTropics (other than being America-only so Sakurai has no idea what it is)? The main thing to do is to spread love of the game to Japan. The fanimations will probably help, but a good friend of mine, who's also a StarTropics 1/2 Master, is helping me script out the perfect (long) StarTropics movie, of which you'll probably recieve a sneak peak in August. Did I mention long? It's long. As in, WAY WAY WAY past 5 minutes and probably in the end going to be around 20, maybe 30. If I exceed half an hour than I will march to Nintendo, ask for permissions to air it on Public Television, and AIR IT since I can air shows for free on Public Television which is only watched by lawyers, and senior citizen Christians. If we can get those two to love the game, then yay.

If we can get those two to love the game, then yay. Well, most people want characters that are well-known, but I've had enough of well-known characters, because you see and hear them very often. StarTropics isn't only released in America, it's also released in Europe. Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II was only released in America, probably because the prequel didn't sell well enough in Europe. Well, I hope you'll do well on the StarTropics movie. If you need some StarTropics music, then download Winamp, SNES Amp, and the StarTropics NSF file. As soon as you install it, be sure to record it using Audicity or some other good recorder that converts recordings into MP3 format. To learn how to play NSF files, look for tutorials about them.

Oh, I have all the music in MP3 format. I just need SFX. Well, Sakurai did say, in regards to Assist Trophies, "You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize" so who knows... Many EarthBound fans agree that Mike Jones has a strong chance of getting into the game as an Assist Trophy.

Haha no worries, I believe that an announcement of such greatness warrants a bump in this thread!
Congratulations! And it's great to hear that you're already so far into the second game. It always seemed shorter to me than the first although it's still a great game ;D.

So far the second game is pretty fun. Although I really hate the main dungeon of chapter 6. EDIT: Now I'm in Chapter 9. The boss rush is starting to get on my nerves. EDIT: I finally beat the game and killed Zoda Z on my first try.
