Nice video.
I've never played Earthbound but I know most of the characters because of SSBM. Anyway I liked the acting and found the starman funny. You're lucky you have such good friends to do stuff like that with you.

I'm more lucky to have one dude (the Starman) who would literally jump off a cliff if I said I was recording it. It was very easy to convince him to wear the costume. I was like "Wanna be Starman?" And he was all like "YES! YES! YESSSS!" As for Pokey, I had trouble enough getting him in suspenders. EarthBound's a great game. It really is.

In Japan it is known as MOTHER. In America it is known as EarthBound.
MOTHER 1/Famicom (1989) - No US release MOTHER 2/Super Famicom (1994) - EarthBound/SNES (1995) MOTHER 3/Nintendo 64 - Cancelled MOTHER 1+2/GBA (2003) - No US release MOTHER 3/GBA (2006) - No US release
So the second one in Japan was released. The first one was fully translated by NOA, but never released. You can find a ROM version if you like, but I prefer playing the actual thing in Japanese on my GBA. The video we based off of was from the game EarthBound which was released in America.

*Goes to ebay*...I don't think I'm going to pay that much for it . I wouldn't even know how to get a Japaneze copy so I guess I could play the ROM but I probably won't worry about that right now. If I see it anywhere for I decent price I'll buy it.

Wait for a Virtual Console release. It's really expensive for the SNES copy. Just wait for the VC release and nab for $8. You get many hours of gameplay. Or get the ROM. Nobody will really care if you do. For Japanese imports, I always use Play Asia, but the game kinda requires Japanese knowledge. MOTHER 3 does not, but you'd want to know some for controls and whatnot.

I never even thought of Virtual Console. The problem with VC is that it could take years for it to come out (I can't understand why it's taking Nintendo so long to release new VC games, it's not like they have to remake them).

I'm fairly sure that the EarthBound fanbase have done enough to convince Nintendo to release EarthBound on the VC. But yeah.

If I make a video I'll make sure not to film it just after it rains ;D

Well if you're atop of loads of grass in a natural park, yeah don't film. Luckily rain doesn't appear on camera well. If you mix milk with the water, then yes, the rain will appear but natural rain doesn't. So it was slightly drissling in a previous thing we did (currently unreleased) but we were able to film since it didn't appear on camera and since our hair doesn't sag down when wet for some unknown reason.
