MJ... how did we miss this last week? www.nintendopower.com/images/NP250_DLmega.jpgApparently, subscribing just to GameInformer, you STILL miss out on a gem every now and then... A virus that causes robots to overheat and go out of control.... hmm... sounds like Capcom may finally be starting to try to get the original MM series to lead into the MMX series... but what do I know... This just made my day!

Wow this sounds like it's going to be amazing, thanks for pointing this out to me coralcola . I wouldn't be surprised if eventually the original series does somehow lead into the X series, it may not be for a while though but if it does happen then maybe Capcom will start making 16 bit MMX games again . I'm really looking forward to this!

I was actually thinking/hoping myself when I heard MM9 was being made that it would lead into some sorta epic storyline that either would truly make MMX the MM10 for the series, or have MM10 be the lead in for MMX *remember the X and 10 connection, Roman numerals and all*. However, I have no opposition to them making more games, if they are done right and stay true to the series, not necessarily the 8-bit part (I did like MM7 and I DO think MM can work in 3-D when you get your ducks in order)... The MM series has had a number of continuity problems in the past, and if the writers really wanted to appease their purists, they could do it in a game or two. I have ideas myself how it could be done, and it really isn't too hard to follow. We'll find out in due time though...
