Here are some songs I wished were in the SSB series. Some of these songs below are arrangements and remixes. Some are original versions.
Two songs from the music album titled "Toy Music ~ Akihabara Electric Circus":
Nazo no Murasamejo medley
This one has every song heard in the game.
Famicom Grand Prix series medley
This song has these songs in order of appearance: Before a race starts (F-1 Race), Level 1-1 (F-1 Race), Track Selection, Monster (3D Hot Rally), Track Selection (F-1 Race), Level 1-1 (F-1 Race), don't know what the last one is.
Three songs from the "Game Music Grafitti" music album:
Alleyway
This is a remix of the Title Screen and the Bonus Stages.
Baseball (Game Boy version)
This is a remix of the song heard before an entire ball game starts and one of the two songs heard during real ball games.
Golf (Game Boy version) (I like it like this better.)
This is a remix of the Title Screen and the Results Screen.
Solar Striker
This is a remix of Stage 1 / Stage 2 and Stage 5.
Some songs from the Game Boy Gallery (Game & Watch Gallery 1) soundtrack. It would of been nicer if SSBB also included a song from the Game & Watch Gallery series for the Game & Watch stages, especially the Manhole and Octopus ones.
Manhole (arranged)
Fire (arranged)
Octopus (arranged)
Oil Panic (arranged)
Game Select / Gallery Corner (arranged)
Mode Select (arranged)
Game Over (arranged) jk
Congratulations (arranged)
Ending (arranged)
Wild Trax - Rare Tracks for Driving (Stunt Race FX soundtrack). These are better than that orchestrated one titled "Special Trax" which several people thought the SSBB version would of sounded like.
Title Screen ~ Aqua Tunnel (Click here to listen to the arranged Aqua Tunnel song while watching the Coupe race around the track.)
Easy Ride ~ Sky Ramp
Sunset Valley ~ Night Owl
From the album titled "Nintendo Sound Selection Music 2 - Game Boy Music":
Super Mario Land - Birabuto Kingdom overworld theme + Muda Kingdom overworld theme
Super Mario Land - Marine Pop / Sky Pop (it would of sounded nicer if played simultaneously with this song heard on VG Music. Also, if SSB4 included a side-scrolling shoot 'em up chapter, this would of been a nice song choice to hear along with the Solar Striker music when playing either as Sky Pop Mario, the Solar Striker, Witch Stafy or any other shoot 'em up from Nintendo.
Songs by lesys:
Super NES SimCity medley
Songs in order of appearance are Village, Town, City, Capital, Metropolis, Megalopolis and the Title Screen.
Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru - Main overworld theme (it would of sounded better if combined with the final boss theme, like this song by a Japanese person name "dpn". To download it, type in "kaeru" as the password and click "Download". Here is an older version of lesys's song, which sounds better. To download it, click here.
From VG Music (usually when I redirect links to MIDI files on VG Music, they become broken when accessed; however, there is a link on the 404 page that goes directly to the MIDI file):
Mole Mania - World 2 / World 6
Radar Mission - a combination of the Title Screen, Place Your Battleships! and Game B.
Uploaded on YouTube:
A remix of every song heard in either one of these two games (which are the same), especially the Stage 1 / Stage 5 music: Balloon Kid / Balloon Fight GB
A remix of every song heard in this game, especially the main fight theme: Pro Wrestling
Ripped directly from the game:
Wave Race 64 - a combination of Sunny Beach and Southern Island (1996 version)
Super Punch-Out!! (Super NES version) - a remix of these songs in the game:
Minor Circuit
Major Circuit
World Circuit
Special Circuit
StarTropics - a combination of these songs in the game:
Dungeon Theme 1
Dungeon Theme 2
Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II - a combination of these songs in the game:
Dungeon 2
Dungeon 3
Dungeon 6
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters - World 1
Tin Star - Gallop Ride (If Tin Star became a playable character, his victory theme would sound like this)
A combination of these two songs in the Densetsu no Stafy series:
Densetsu no Stafy 4's version of the first stage (which is the same song in all Stafy games, but they all sound different.)
Densetsu no Stafy 1 - Second Stage
Pokemon Trading Card Game 1 (Game Boy Color) - Either the Credits or Ronald's Theme
Tomato Adventure - Battle Theme 1 (It would of been better if it was mixed with the song heard during the first battle against Abira, the antagonist of Tomato Adventure, but I can't seem to find it.).
Of course I could come up with more, but I just listed some of my missed favourites, with particular attention on games with no representation. Some might have been too difficult (e.g. Tin Star, StarTropics 1 and 2), while others were missed due to some evil scheme or something like that (e.g. most Game Boy games).
