Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

So then, I just went and saw Casino Royale tonite. Coming from a lifelong 007 fan, I must say, this one blew MY MIND!! ;D Imagine one of Connery's early films (From Russia With Love, i.e.) set in modern times, with the intensity level spiked about 5 times, and you got it! Daniel Craig, as most of the critics have said, is indeed the most intense Bond of them all, and he plays the part well. The plot has A LOT of twists and turns that occur, many not even hinted at in the previews, and I've even read Ian Fleming's Casino Royale. The movie portrays Bond's tougher side, as opposed to the usual sophisticated, wise-cracking (though there are some fall on the floor funny moments), and techo smart character we usually picture him as. The only thing I must warn is that some of the scenes are gory, while others might make ya cringe with how everybody's getting beat up. The one torture scene, where Bond gets whipped in certain unfortunate areas, is brutal, yet not wholly gory. Bond ends up sneaking in one of the best lines in the entire series (yes, ENTIRE series), in the middle of this event, and I started crying with laughter it was so hilarious and seemingly out of character. In the end, Craig made it all work... If you're up to it, go see it. I 100% recommend it, but, be warned. You will not be bored or tempted to fall asleep watching, but more inclined to wince or just fall off your seat...
