And here I go, shamelessly exhibiting my own two ST masterpieces... and hopefully they won't be the only two for long. I do plan to make more. The first one I ever did here is the odd similarities between Mike's weapons of choice and those of Ness from Mother 2/Earthbound. Baseball bat, yo-yo, you get the picture. sassobabe.deviantart.com/art/That-s-MY-schtick-buddy-76937284 (This one was featured on StarTropicsHQ.com. <3)The second one is much more recent, finished just about two weeks ago. It's even got a tiny bit of it's own little "story" behind it, one that's admittedly just as silly as some of the canon in-game occurrences themselves: sassobabe.deviantart.com/art/Dolphin-for-a-Day-93700693And there you have it for now, thanks so much for stopping by to take a look.

The first is very, very well detailed. Easily able to place Mike as Mike and not some random stranger(as has been the case in some peoples designs) and I find it funny the look Ness and Mike are giving one another. The second, though also well detailed, freaks me out kind of. Mermaid-Mike? ??

Nicely done. I especially like the first drawing. Very well detailed. The second one is weird, but still also well done.

Ahaha, it's just as I said, it's an outright silly and strange idea I had. Perhaps I should have put up some form of disclaimer for it, but it's not like it's objectionable material, anyways. Sorry for scaring you fellas a bit!

Not scary...just a bit out of the ordinary. I don't think a single one of us would normally think to ourselves, "I wonder what Mike would look like as a mer-man." But you have answered the question that no one has dared ask himself. And for that, we are thankful.

He looks rather feminine as a dolphin. Dolph-men aren't some kind of strange fantasy of yours, are they? It came out quite smoothly, while still not too far removed from the actual ST art style. And a recognizable constellation is a nice touch. Next time you can use the Southern Cross. Is Ursa Major even visible in the southern hemisphere?
Good work, kitty.

Late reply is laaaaaaate, whoo boy! That is the Southern Cross up top there, the part of it up near the corner is the cross; the two stars to the lower left of it somehow still came through (even though I'd tried to edit them out of that same layer, but to no avail). So I just left them in. And no, thankfully, mer-boys aren't some kind of freaky fetish of mine. Also, I think the reason he might look "feminine" iis because of his posture. It makes him look a bit... curvy, admittedly.
