1. I realized my mistake... "The big apple is delicious... but nothing happens." I thought that room had a heart (because I remembered where the room is) and the big apple room was elsewhere, when really one of the islands in chapter 6 literally has nothing on it. *bangs head* So yes, 9 big hearts is correct. 2. I think I added an extra one in for chapter 3... maybe? (I thought there was 4 in chapter 3, 3 in ghost tunnel and one... in the hermit's tunnel?) I know chapter 5 has one randomly. 3. I'm sure chapter 6 has more than 3, and I thought chapter 7 had 2? Maybe we've all been playing different StarTropics games all along.

1: Nine is what I was looking for! It never made sense to me why the easiest to find secret island in Chapter 6 had the Big Heart, while the Big Apple island was more out of the way. Having it the other way around would have been funnier, but oh well. 2: There are two rooms in the Ghost Tunnel which require you to kill all of the ghosts before you can proceed, then there is the Maxi fight, and finally a room in Chapter 5 near the end of Captain Bell's Tunnel! The Hermit's Tunnel does not contain a Rod of Sight. 3: Chapter 7 only has one, although there are a couple of rooms where a secret tile appears once all of the enemies/boss is defeated, which allows you to cross a two tile wide gap. Unfortunately you have undershot the Chapter 6 number a little bit. And no love for the Gold Nuggets, huh? It's such a strange number, I'm honestly not sure why they didn't just make it an even one thousand. If no one gets it before the other remaining question is answered then I will give it away for free.

Well it has been five days without any more responses, so I guess I accidentally broke the game. My bad! For Question 3, there are five anklets in the first dungeon of Chapter 6, and one in the first level of Chapter 7, for a total of six. I really would have liked to have seen more of the Anklet in ST1 (and maybe even see it make a return in ST2) as it allowed for some pretty cool puzzles. One of the things that made the original StarTropics so great is that just about every single level introduced something new, and you were always being given some sort of new item to use or obstacle to overcome. In my mind it is a perfect experience that not many other games have been able to replicate! As for the Golden Nuggets, they for some reason reward you with 1020 points. I have no idea where they got that strange number from! Anyway, that is it for my questions. Who's up next?

I shall resume with more: (Some of these have a "sarcastic" or other-worldly spin, so keep an open mind ) 1. What's the "state" that Mike was in during ST2, chapter 5 (bonus points if you know the "modern" answer and the "era-specific" answer). 2. If Mike were to ever pull a Bruce Jenner *rolls eyes * and get a sex change, what would his new name most probably be? 3. The team that produced StarTropics 2 also were simultaneously producing another game. What game was this? 4. What are the only 2 times (or depending how you look at it, 3) in ST1 that you hear traditional "overworld" music in a "dungeon"-type setting (overworld, as I'm meaning it here, are those areas that aren't dungeons, aka when Mike/Sub-C are controllable on-screen but not capable of attacking or being attacked, aka... Mike/Sub-C are small... just to clarify in case you think I'm trying to be tricky, lol). IN OTHER WORDS5. Plantains-containing auriculae 6. Huzzah! Thou hast persevered! 7. Ultra stellar hydrogen accretor (wut? ) 8. Hoagie Gamma

1: I think it would have been modern-day California but I'm not sure what the era-specific answer is...unless it is also California 2: Quite obviously, it would be Michelle. 3: No clue... 4: I don't think I understand fully what you're trying to get at here...
IN OTHER WORDS 5: Bananas in the ears? 6: Wow! You've done it! 7: Super Nova...and yes: WUT 8: Sub-C

1.- Washington? He is from Seattle after all. (Bonus: Little Mac from SUPER Punch Out! is from Seattle too, according to Fight Night Round 2, as opposed to the black haired one who's from the Bronx) 3.- Super Punch Out. 4.- I'm posstive one is at Chapter 8 after you beat Zoda, before you walk out of the last dungeon, it's already playing the overworld spaceship theme song. Then there's Chapter 6 when you find Dr.Jones' location, and the Sub C submerges, Mike goes into a dungeon that has 3 rooms that are a straight line, each darker than the last, and the Sub C overworld theme song is playing.

FYI, the "era-specific" portion referenced that it was just the California Territory at the time, also called Alta California by some) 2. )ding *applause*5. )ding *applause*6. )ding Wow! You got what I felt were the hardest one (Chapter 6) and the easiest one (chapter 8, after beating Zoda) of the "potential" three. )dingdingding *applause* The rooms surrounding Zoda Prime both have overworld music (the exit and the narrowing room), so I wanted to clarify that it could be viewed as 2 or 3 instances overall. So I think my questions are answered for now. Anyone else got anything?

Okay, since nobody picked up on it, I'll put out some new q's. 1. The space to blow up in ST2 chapter 5 that reveals the path to the dungeon is how many spaces "vertically" from where the "deformed" cactus is? 2. How many slices of pizza did Cleopatra eat? 3. What could we assume the slugs in ST1's dungeons "morphed" into for ST2 (one in particular)? 4. What "non-boss" enemy did not have its sprite change at all between ST1 and ST2? IN OTHER WORDS5. Tis piquant, but irrelevant. 6. Thou hath a mondo ticker. 7. Beacon pistol 8. Busts of Fraternal Συμοξηο (I pulled a fast one on the last word cuz there's no other word for it/way to describe it) Good luck!

(That scene took a while so it has to be 8) 3.- Pink slime balls. 4.- Bats 5.- Chicken Nugget? 6.- You got a big heart! 7.- Laser gun 8.-

Since 1-4 are already answered, and 6 and 7 are as well...I know that 5 is "It's delicious, but nothing happens" And you stumped me with 8 as well.

As a note though, you could swap "fraternal" with "identical" too (depending on the... ahem... situation), and the same result would occur.

I had been reading the first word as "buRsts" for some reason, although as soon as I realized what it really was, the rest quickly fell into place. There aren't too many twin statues in the ST universe. *The Statues of Twin Sumocho*

Woah, I got 1-7! Didn't think I'd get so many. I particularly doubted the ammount of slices, and 5-8. Heck, I was completely clueless about 8. I'll need a dictionary by my side next time. XD For 8 I was going to go with something related to the 7 alien children... but turns out that was not the case, and they are not necesssarily siblings either.
