I know I'm *checks PC clock* 2 hours early, potentially, but I wanted to wish everyone on the forum a Merry XMAS or Happy Hanukkah or Happy Kwanzaa, whichever you celebrate, if you celebrate any of them. ;D My concept about the holiday season is that, even if you don't celebrate a figurehead or belief in any particular religion, you can spend this holiday season celebrating what I believe everyone can celebrate during this time of year and what I think should be true meaning behind these holidays: Family values, peace on earth, happiness for all people, respect to others, and the bright future ahead for all us (and hopefully ST, lol). Here's to a great group of people on one of the VERY BEST forums on the web (I'm on a dozen, and C-Island HAS ALWAYS been my favorite by far), and I hope you all enjoy this holiday season and enjoy the time you spend with others. *Sappy cornball-ish speech ends*

HAPPY new years HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!! I agree with your speech completely Coralcola. I am also on many message boards but this one will always be my favourite (Trivia: The Startropics EZ Board was the first message board I ever joined! ).

So what did y'all get for Christmas this year? Here is what all I got: - A stuffed chicken head toy that allows you to grow grass hair on it.
- Nintendo DS Browser for the Nintendo DS Lite. I don't have a DS Lite, but I'm about to get one.
- Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol
- The Weather Channel Presents: The Best of Smooth Jazz
- A label-printing machine
- $25 American Express gift card
- $30 Wal*Mart gift card
- Season 1 of Heroes on 2-disc DVD
- Two "Saint John's Bay" brand, short-sleeved shirts
- One "Chaps" brand, long-sleeved shirt
- A book titled "The Boys Book: How To Be Best At Everything".
- Some cash, forgot how much, but I probably got around $80.
- A can of wasabi peas and rainbow-colored, Amish, unpopped popcorn.
- A plastic money jar with a lid that counts every coin I sort through it to tell me how much pocket change I got in the jar itself.
- A keyboard vacuum/blower with a brush attached to it.
AND
- A Toshiba notebook.
What did you get for Christmas?

Should I ask about the orange MJ, or leave it be? My list: - WII BABY! ;D
WITH: 2nd controller, 2 nunchucks, Charge station, Wii Sports, 1 GB Memory card (all aka Wii Bundle) Da Games: Wii Play (Billiards ROCK) Twillight Princess Metroid Prime 3 Cruis'n Prince of Persia
- Sonic Gems for the GC (Been looking everywhere for that)
- Random Game Show PC Games, DVD Games, Board games and the like (of course):
I recommend people check out the "Concentration" PC game and ANYTHING relating to 1vs100 they see, they are great ways to pass time in between Wii sessions
- More money I've ever gotten from anyone ever anytime all the time (I'll have my B.S. in Physics in May, somebody's gotta pay me off early )
- Gift cards out the wazoo (totaling approx 1 gallon of gas at the local station (LOL ), other random places, and LOOTTSS of EB Bucks W00T!)
- A big ole 6ft tall palm tree lamp for my ST/Tahiti room (it's big, it's heavy, it's gorgeous, and worth every dime of somebody else's money)
- Some cologne and other smell-good stuff, keeping the tropical theme up with Tommy Bahama
- A Texas Hold Em Calendar (eh?): Each day has a "lift-a-flap" set which reveals your cards, the flop, turn, river, and opponents hands individually; really cool.
- Though not a sports fan, I do like to attend soccer games every now and then, and mom got Dad and I tickets to the season opener of DC United (the closest pro team in the Maryland area)
But, of course, the Wii was the big thing, as one would suspect. In fact, as my parents and I joked about, this is the FIRST time since 1989 (yes, that long ago) that my parents bought me a major video game system while it was still "new" and was still being sold at its original/non-reduced price. The first, and only other time, naturally, was the NES. This all said, and, supposedly, I'm not even done yet! I supposedly have some more stuff coming from other relatives, probably within the next week, so we'll see what comes of that. So, from that, the gift cards, and money I got, I'll be adding more games to my collection, including Need For Speed: Carbon, Need For Speed: Pro Street, Bleach: Shattered Blade, SSX Blur, Link's Crossbow Training, and probably a few others. The rest will go in the bank. I'll have as many Wii games within one week of getting the system as I've gotten GC games in the past 3 years!! BTW MJ, the original C-Island forum was the 2nd forum I ever signed up for, the first being a game show forum that has since disbanded. About a dozen later, C-Island is still the most well-maintained and coolest looking of them all (only 1 other forum I'm on even has a background pic) and C-Island also has the best crop of members. Everywhere else is either run like a dictatorship (whether or not they actually have to be is a different story), or trolls run the place like gang turf..
