The one disappointment that I had with ST1 was that bloody beeping when you had 1.5 or less hearts left (although I suppose it was tolerable if you just tuned it out using the rest of the game's awesomeness as ammo). ST2 was a bit more disappointment. The fact that there was no Yo-Yo to be used (even when you go back to C-Island...what the crap?! ) was a disappointment. The sounds used in general were a bit tinny and high pitched...a little annoying after a while. Other than that...it was a really good game.

I think the most disappointing of the two games is the soundtrack of part two. The graphics are better, but the sound isn't in connection with the scene, the instruments always smash, crash or cut, no good sound at all...

[glow=limegreen,10,300]i also think so but the music while at egypt and while searching for the monkey were great for the game and the boss music was great and the credits song was great and of course the opening the other music in the game was a huge disappointment my father loves the music of the first startropics because it reminds him of the carribean music he listened to while living in puerto rico bby the way this is his favorite video game also yup he is a gamer[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I thought a major dissapointment of part two is the absence of the tile system. That was what made the first game what it was. Sure, there were tiles in two that you could jump on to make a question mark bubble thingy but it wasn't near the original in that aspect.[/glow]

they had that funky sound with the triangle channel(base channel)
it had it where it played a octave higher for like 10 milliseconds and then go down one octave to make a bongo-bass sound.

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

The one complaint I have about the entire series is the sound effect you get when you are low on hearts. After I got ST II, I originally liked it more than ST I, having gotten somewhat tired of playing ST I so much. I love the games as they were, but that D**N *BEEP* *BEEP* BEEP* you get when you are low on energy irritated me to no end!

The beeping is great! It adds to the pressure! lol I love everything about Star Tropics (1) That's so true! You don't want to get any more hits and you play more carefully. Also you try to find new hearts as fast as possible. But yeah, maybe it's sometimes annoying .. I can't really find anything complaining. Except that when you are thrown away from whale's stomach then you have to enter the code. I don't get it, where do you get that 747? Well, i haven't had any problems with that, cos my sisters have played this game before me so they knew the code. But seriously, where do you find that code? From the boddle on 2nd chapter ?? I just don't know where.

Actually, a letter comes along with the game when you get it (or at least it should). Baboo tells you that Dr. J says to put the letter in water. When you do, 747 shows up. Theres a picture of it in the ending slideshow for the game.
