Well, I haven't posted in this topic for a long time, so I'll update anyone who actually cares, I don't mind if you don't.
First of, Cody and Kendra broke up last spring (Cody Doster), as well as Brittany and Austin Gerten braking up. Actually Gerten and I are pretty good friends and alot has happened since this all started. My friend Scott invited me to band practice sometime late last winter, and thats when my life really took a turn. I never really heard too much about the band before then, but thats changed. Some other friends of mine, Eric, Lee, and Austin, who is actually my second cousin (its still Gerten, not a different Austin) are in the band as well. Anyway, after the first practice, I really enjoyed coming to band practice to listen to them. Over the course of the last six months I've been going to all their band practices as well as taking up guitar, which I am getting alot better at. As of last thursday I am officially in the band as a guitarist. But that really doesn't have anything to do directly with the subject of the thread.
Over the summer I didn't do too much. About the first week there was the annual school band trip to Cedar Point, at which I spent the day with Kendra and Brittany riding the rides. But after that I didn't see her at all. The only time I talked to her was on MSN. Even then it always seemed like after five minutes or so she'd have to go. But School has started up once again.Thus the confusion begins anew. We share 7 out of 8 classes, yet I only sit by her in 2. I don't know if she "likes" me really much at all because she hardly ever tallks to me anymore. Also, shes always been really flat in the chest area but over the summer she developed a little more and now other guys are always talking about her like a friggin object. Not to mention just from different things that happen, I have no idea whats going on anymore. The other day she was with Lauren, and Lauren says to Mitch, "hey homecoming is in like # (im not sure) months, you could take kendra" and Kendra was shaking her head in agreement, I wasn't sure what to make of that, and Mitch didn't really give an answer. Then yesterday as I sat down at the lunch table, scott, matt (not me), and eric (not the one in the band) were already there. Matt started saying that Kendra supposedly likes Scott, and Scott was saying that that was only supposed to be between the three of them. They didn't really talk about it after that. So at this point it really hits me that there is alot of stuff that I don't know.
So if thats not enough, band on monday brought a competely different set of complications. The freshman mixer is on friday, and kyle didn't have a ride. Somehow I got roped into picking up him and his cousin tony, as well as a very *friendly* person from a nearby town. Its not bad though, they are paying me $10. However Kyle kept trying to get me to take a friend of the very *friendly* person's to the mixer. I turned him down, even after he said I could easily get head from her, and told him I have my reasons. He knows what they are now, but I'm not so sure about myself anymore. Mainly because of the comment S2H made about the peripherals. Pretty much thats got me all confused.
On a side note, I think Kendra may know that I like her. Last year near the end of the year, in spanish class, I don't remember what exactly was going on at the time but Lauren just blurted out "Yeah, thats because Matthew is in love with you" to Kendra. I was kinda taken aback for a second, and my reply was "Prove it". She said a couple of things, which I had excuses for, but I never really denied it at all. Then last week I hardly even said anything and shes like "Yeah Matthew thats just because your obsessed with Kendra" and that I did outright deny. She was saying that I sat by her in every class, which isn't true, and she tried to give another reason why which actually isn't true, and the whole time Kendra is just sitting there saying "Ya know maybe he just finds me irresistable" So if nothing else she has a pretty good indiication that I like her. Thats about where I will stop writing before I give myself carple tunnel. Sorry I write so much, I just needed to vent a little.
