Edit: Fryguy, I'm ashamed to ask, but who is the scientist holding the dynamite, and who is the guy flexing his muscles? I'm not sure of a lot of the characters in that picture, but those two are confusing me as well...do tell!

Edit: Fryguy, I'm ashamed to ask, but who is the scientist holding the dynamite, and who is the guy flexing his muscles? The muscle-flexing guy is just one of the unnamed characters from Urban Champion. The scientist is Professor Hector from Stack-Up and Gyromite. To save any further brain-ache, other characters that might cause contention are: Ninten (small boy with baseball bat - from the original "Mother" on the Famicom, and not to be confused with Ness, despite being identical) Mach Rider (from "Mach Rider" - often confused for Dark Samus) Sukapon (pink robot hero of Famicom fighting game Joy Mecha Fight) Mr. Stevenson (machine-gun wielding detective from Gumshoe on the NES) Tamagon (green dragon from "Devil World" on the Famicom) I believe you've already met Bubbles, Balloon Fighter, Duck Hunt dog, Popo, Little Mac, Mike Jones, Mario and Marth

Ok, the only other one I wasn't completely sure of was Sukapon..... at first I wasn't sure about mach rider but then I realized that was probably most likely since you said samus wasn't in it.

Oh man, I know this is getting off topic, and I apologize, but as long as fryguy's checking these boards, I need to ask, and I need to know. On your disk system medley, I only know of Link, Pit, Samus, and Takamaru..... who are the rest? Are they from the japan only text adventures? Where can I learn about them?
On topic: Great Fanart everyone!

I have indeed considered being a cartoonist... the only problem is I'm too lazy to sit down and actually do it As for the Disk System medley (wherever you found it)... from top to bottom, left to right... Link (Zelda) Fighter Hayabusa (Pro Wrestling) Hero of Time Twist Takamaru (Nazo no Murasamejou) Anata (Famicom Tantei Club Part I + II) Samus Aran (Metroid) Pit (Kid Icarus) Gokuu (Yuu Yuu Ki) Donbe (Shin Oni Ga Shima)

How do you insert a picture into a message on here? Do you have to put your picture on a web address first? Or, is there somewhere you can copy the hard drive address of the picture to in order to make it appear? I tried inserting the hard drive address in the post reply menu's image brackets, along with trying to directly copy and paste the picture from paint into the message box, but it's not working!! HELP!

It's pretty simple, really. You have to go into the actual Reply page in order to do it, though. In the text box, type " " and then the URL of the image you want to use followed by "[/IMG ]" (without the quotes and spaces between IMG and the brackets, of course).

Well, I decided to work on a piece of my own Fanart... I am happy about my picture, even though I started with a basic C-Island picture from Mitch's site... It's the best I can do with computer art, because I'm no expert when it comes to Paint, but I do know the basic stuff, which is what I used to adjust the original picture to what it is here. It's best viewed in the Paint program, the browser seems to make everything fuzzy and takes away a lot of detail. I adjusted the colors and added some detail to make objects appear less squarish. I added some effects to the water to make it look a little more realistic. There were originally about 1/5 of the little white dots than are there in the water, the other 4/5 I had to add by hand, pixel by pixel... ugh. However, I did add a little mini-island to C-Island's SW, just for the heck of it. I think I'll name it Serpent Isle... If anybody wants to use it for anything, feel free, but I've seen much better pictures of C-Island that others have made. www.solisearch.net/ims/pic.php?u=30195EweRR&i=198075

That is a sick layout, Mitch!!! I'm actually beginning work on my own site, which I just got the domain name registered yesterday, and I need a layout. Would you be willing to put something together for me...possibly? If not, that's cool...I can work with what I've got.

There are plenty of hosting sites that will let you have a site for free and are much, MUCH better than Geocities will ever be. You've just got to look for them. If you're a college student, then onesite.com is definitely the place to go because they will let you have your own domain name (www.yournamehere.com) completely free of charge.
