I use geocities.com. It gives you free web space that I put my demo on. I don't really know what else you could use off hand.

If you're in college...ONEsite.com will let you host your own domain name for FREE!!! Take my site, for example. All they do is put a tiny bar up at the top of the screen that doesn't even really take away from the site at all. It gives you up to 5 email addresses from that domain...as well as 50MB of storage. Otherwise...I have no other ideas lol.

Ohh, I have webspace Matt. I can put together a Star Tropics site and have it geared towards your game and your updates. I can put the game there and deal with making the website shortly after. If this is a good option for you, send me a pm. PLEASE don't use Geocities, of all the free hosts, they're one of the most annoying (even Freewebs is better).

I definitely agree with omnicron. When I first started out with websites, I started with GeoCities...and absolutely hated it. I quickly switched to AngelFire...which isn't much better (although I hear it's much worse now than it used to be). Then I went to freewebs, which was alright, but it was limiting. 0catch then came next...that's really good, except they don't allow remote image linking. I then heard about ONEsite from one of my friends here at school and I am very happy with them. Especially because there are no pop-ups, annoying banners, ridiculously annoying long sub-domain names, and they allow remote image linking. It's a good time.

Son of a monkey, I never realized there was already a big website called www.classicsgames.com, thats what I wwas going to call myself, now I gotta come up with a new one. I'm considering renaming myself Tropic Games. I was going to use Oceansoft, but thats taken as well. Somehow I don't think I'll be able to come up with an original name anytime soon. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them! Also does anyone know of good web designing software thats free? Thanks, hope to get the demo posted tommorow.

I apologize for my prolonged absense. I've been having some relationship issues and haven't been on in awhile. I'll try to find somewhere to host the demo tonight. Lata

Finally! I awate for you to reveal the demo! Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Sub-C just short for Submarine-C? So if it were a spaceship wouldn't it be Spaceship-C? I can see maybe naming it Space-C, but Sub-Star or Sub-Space really don't make sense to me. Or it could be Rocket-c and for short RC.

Another idea could be to tack on a 2 at the end of Sub-C (Sub-C 2)...I know that's really cheesy...but it would save the time and effort of coming up with a name when the Sub-C's original name is awesome enough lol. Just think...the Sub-C 2 could have underwater AND space-travel capabilities.

Ya maybe Dr. J could just upgrade Sub-C so that it can go into outer space! ;D

Actually thats exactly what I plan on doing, I was just thinking that if it was upgraded it wouldn't be called Sub-C anymore.

Hmmm maybe somthing like (super sub-c) or you could just change the name to space-c but make sure Dr. J says that it has submarine and spaceshipe capibilites.
Demo?
