I am hoping somebody else has experienced this so I can safely say my friend and I are not crazy. We both had copies of Zoda's Revenge as kids when it first came out. Awesome game. Only problem we ever encountered was that Mike's time-warp travels, after acquiring a tetrad, did not always move him forward a level. In fact, there were times we would be in World 5 or 6 and upon completion and the usual dialogue and cut scene, we would wind up back in the pre-historic age and have to play from there. No clue why and this happened multiple times. I have never heard of this happening to anyone else. Would love to hear if anyone else experienced this or knows why it would happen. Thanks!

Never had that happen, but I have had "warp glitches" in ZR before. The one that happened most frequently was in level 1 in the cave, where you can walk into the wall and warp right to the end of the game...

I definitely can't say that I've heard of that glitch myself. Both you and your friend owned copies of the game, and both copies apparently had this problem? Were you both possibly using a Game Genie or something which may have interfered with how the game was supposed to work? The one that happened most frequently was in level 1 in the cave, where you can walk into the wall and warp right to the end of the game... Wait a second, why does this not sound familiar? I've been super busy lately so maybe my mind is just fried, but I honestly don't think that this is ringing a bell. I'd love to hear more about that!

I wish I had my Capture Card the most recent time I did it. I found it by accident as a child. Go through the game as normal, then towards the end of the cave town, you can walk straight into the wall near the exit, and it will take you straight to the credits. I think I triggered it using the game genie the first time years ago (just using codes in the codebook, nothing special), but I've also been able to do it without game genie before, so there must be some common trigger, or there are different triggers that can make it happen. I have to record it while I'm doing it sometime and post it...

This would be an interesting glitch to see...either one of them, really. kkuczma, do you have a capture card or a ROM you could demonstrate this glitch on? Coralcola...I know you do streaming now, so would you be able to demonstrate your glitch? I'd love to see it to figure out what triggers it.

I'm thinking I'll have to record, off-camera, me playing through the game trying to activate it, then play the video on stream... we'll see. But yes, I plan on addressing this on stream in the future... I'd love to steal a world record from ZodaStone by like 55 minutes...

Haha that'd be epic. Then there'd have to be a glitched and no-glitch category. More ST for everyone!
