So Shigeru Miyamoto recently asked Kotaku to ask their commenters what new games they would like to see on the Wii U, and 72 people apparently voted to bring back StarTropics! I know it's not a huge number, but it still goes to show that there are others out there who care about our beloved series! Check out the article at the link below, the StarTropics part shows up pretty close to the top! kotaku.com/shigeru-miyamoto-we-have-an-answer-to-your-question-1597993025I actually originally clicked on this article because I had heard that 617 people voted to bring back Mega Man Legends 3. Why must all of my favorite series end after 2 games...

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

I missed this! Not bad with 72 votes, it's more than I thought it would've gotten. Will Miyamoto actually read these? Don't think so. *Sigh* It's almost as if we need to place a James Bond-esque style double agent inside Nintendo who can start dropping hints an ST3 would be an interesting idea for them to undertake.

I think I laid my vote there. 72 is actually more than I thought it would get. Still... that's still next to invisible compared to the demand of other (less worthy) franchises. I mean... Metroid, come on, as much as I love it, we get one every 2 years or something. - My next wacky plan to get Nintendo to notice StarTropics is something that occurred to me shortly after the Invitational Video contest for Smash Bros. My plan is basically that on the next Nintendo video contest, I'd write StarTropics related messages in the wall behind me, hang StarTropics posters, StarTropics III fan-title screens, a Mike Jones + Zoda + Mica figures on my desk, etc. Heavy StarTropics imagery in the background, at least to throw it out there, you know?

Saw lots of other "popular" games that got fewer votes than that...color me impressed!
