First room of 1-1 with the Jellies...and the room in Maxie's level in Chapter 3 with the Muumu's (there's a stopwatch triggered by one of the tiles!)

What's also fun about this thread is that the pics used to guess the room look like how StarTropics would've looked in an Atari console.

Correct Scotty D.! I've always thought it was funny that they just blatantly reused some rooms. And I've noticed that too shinigamihedgehog, it looks like it would have been pretty cool. Be careful with this one:

This one is in the short tunnel in Ch. 3 near the beginning. It has a few (4 I believe?) Octopus enemies jumping around. The next room (moving left) is a strip of land where those spikey fish lizard things run at you.

Room in the spaceship (First one...Chapter 7) where there are two turrets, a vitamin x, and a secret door directly above the right-most tile (the shorter of the three) where you can get a set of spike shoes.

I honestly don't remember how I ever found out about the secret room at the top, although I know that I didn't use a guide and that no one told me. I think that I just noticed that the wall looked different so I tried shooting it? Anyway, that is correct! That brings us to picture #13. This time there are purple blocks, indicating a solid object that Mike cannot pass through that is not a wall.

Come on...challenge me! This one is in the mountain hermit level of chapter 3 as you are circling the geyser. It is an enemy-less room. You enter from the left, the geyser room is below, and you blow a hole in the right wall to move on.

Hmm...I believe this one is the room right before C-Serpent in Ch. 1...with two Loopers and 3 Bats. The door blows open up top after defeating all the enemies.

It's not that room, although it does have pretty much the exact same shape! The door before the C-Serpent does not blow open so it can't be that, although if there is an exploding wall I will usually show it as open unless it's really insignificant (as was the case with picture #12).

Very tricky indeed. Is this the dead end room in the very first part of the 6-2 tunnel (the one with the trick-start)?

Yes! It is dead end rooms like this and the one in Level 1 that will likely be the most tricky, since veteran players probably haven't been in them for a very long time. Here's another one that might make you think a bit, although I'll do some more simpler ones afterwards:
