Ohhh, I see what you were getting at with that MJ. And yes, I also think that's from the Osteroid's level.

That's correct again shinigamihedgehog and Coralcola! ;D The solution image above is taken directly from an online map, so there may be a couple of differences between it and my picture. The one notable thing about this image is that it shows the invisible tile that appears once all of the enemies are defeated, although my pictures will always be of how a room looks immediately after it is entered (all doors will always be open in my pictures though). Picture #6:

Chapter 3...in Magma's Lair. The room where there are three green eyeball enemies that run side to side or up and down when you hit them!
This one took me a good 4 or 5 minutes to think of...nice work!

Close! I really like that answer, that would have been a good one to use at some point. You definitely would have been correct if the entire floor was the same color, although the darker green in the middle indicates...

The picture, as I'm seeing it, has the floor entirely the same color (except at the top where the border it has with the wall is a salmon color).

The green on the paths that lead in/out of the room are a lighter green, indicating grass. The darker green that makes up the majority of the room represents tiles. Maybe my pictures are a bit too simplistic? Welcome to StarTropics on the Atari 2600!

Entering and exiting the room I'm seeing two lines, the top one is the pink-ish color, the bottom one is yellow. :/
But if the middle of the room is all solid, thinking back, I thought to myself about how few times in the game you actually go totally from left to right (or vice-versa) when proceeding through a dungeon.
The only dungeon I recall this being relatively standard is Captain Bell's dungeon, which is my best guess off the top of my head where this one came from.

It is indeed supposed to be a room from Captain Bell's dungeon. The light brown/pinkish line is supposed to represent the side of the wall that is visible to the player, with the dark brown being the top. The line that you said looks yellow appears to be light green on my screen, and is supposed to represent grass and the narrow passageway between rooms. I figured that it would then be obvious that the rest of the room was made up of tiles, although I guess that wasn't the case. Let's try this one and see how it goes:

Chapter 6 (part 2?), right above the Hoodoo Doll mini-boss fight?

Chapter 6 part 2 is correct! And it is indeed before the fight against 2 Hoodoo Dolls. Here's a new room. Note that the yellow squares can indicate stairs or teleporters from the alien spaceship.

Now THAT looks like it's from Magma's lair, when you're going from the top level underneath to the... liquid hot magma... /WITH FRIGGIN LASER BEAMS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS!

It could also be the room right after Magma where you're in between the...liquid hot magma...and upper level.

You win 1 billion, gagillion, fafillion, shabolubalu million illion yillion ... yen. This could be either the section leading to the magma area, or the section leading back up to the surface. They are both in the same level so it's doesn't really matter anyway. Edit: Scotty D. also just pointed this out Give this one a shot!

That...I belive...is the room in Chapter 8 (the final battle) where you fight Zoda's head/hand.
[EDIT]The colors really throw me off! I'm not used to visualizing levels on the spaceship with the other colors![/EDIT]

It is! And haha, I knew that the spaceship ones would probably be tricky. It would be too easy if I changed the colours just for it though, and so far it seems that people have done well with figuring them out. Here is picture #10! I'm glad to see that everyone is enjoying this. There is a special condition this time! You must name the TWO levels that contain a room with this exact layout (enemy placement does not matter). Remember that for now I am only using rooms from StarTropics 1, so the final dungeon of ST2 doesn't count.
