Hi everyone my name is Kevin and I just recently went down to a retro game store and picked this game up and I love it. When I found out about this forum I signed up right away so now I'm just giving myself an introduction and would love to talk with all of you!

Welcome welcome, kaetsu! We are always glad to have a new member of the Island. Do tell...what game store did you happen to find a copy of StarTropics at? I wasn't even aware that there was such a thing as a "retro game store".
In any event, please feel free to make yourself at home! We have many many topics of discussion that are just ripe for continuation/resurrection from the grave. Feel free to give us your input on any/all of them, as well as perhaps bringing your own discussion topics to the table!
Once again, from me and all the other Islanders, Welcome to the Island!
PS: If you are a PC gamer, be sure to check out our Steam group! There's a link in the "Video Games" sub-forum!

Welcome! It's always great to see new people getting into the series. Around where I am StarTropics is a pretty common game, and it's usually priced from $5-$10 since it's not very popular. At least that makes it easier for the people who know what a good game truly is to get their hands on it! ;D

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

Welcome! By chance, the retro game store you found ST wouldn't happen to be "Just Press Play," would it? It's a chain store in the past I've found a bunch of old games at (one of the few I know of that sells the rare ones too). Either way, enjoy your stroll along our beaches and remember, all our bananas are USDA approved.
